Never would've thought

Chapter 2

"I've missed you," he says. I wanted to say I've missed you too, but I have to show him I don't care anymore.

"Why don't you go miss Olivia," I say walking off. Tears stream down my face, i didn't want to say it, but I can't be weak around him. I'm not a backup toy you use when you get bored of the other one.

"Why are you always so mad at me, what did I do to deserve this," Marc screamed at me.

I turn around and stare at him.

"You don't know? Really! Ok I'll tell you then. How about how you talk about how much you hate Olivia then the next day your dating! Then, you act like you don't know and letting her dump her food all over me every day at lunch. But what hurts the most, is that I know you care, but don't do anything about it. So yeah I'm mad," I yell at him. The tears were coming down hard now.

"Chloe, you don't understand," he says with guilt plastered all over his face.

"What's there to understand Marc! Explain it to me," I scream. Marc stays silent not saying anything after that. He comes closer and I can see he's hurt. Tears trickle down his nose, puffy red eyes.

"I'm sorry Chloe," and with that he kissed me. Just a soft quick kiss but that was it. Why did he kiss me, did he think it would solve everything. He has a girlfriend!

"Marc what are you doing," I say softly. I already know where this is heading, he'll say it was an accident then he'll stay clear of me for sure.

"You have a girlfriend, and this isn't fairy tales where a kiss can solve everything," I say looking down.

"Chloe you need to understand Olivia's not like who she seems to be. She's caring and kind when something she loves comes to her. She only doesn't like you because she thinks your a threat to our relationship," says Marc staring through my eyes.

"Why did you kiss me then," I say really confused and hurt.

"To make you Listen to me," he says smiling.

" I have to go it's getting late," I say smiling too.

"Goodbye Chloe," says Marc walking off.
