Yukari's Greatest Battle (Yukari, Girls und Panzer)

A Special Day - Part 2

---Timeskip: Time to B-Day, 25 hours---

After staying up late looking for places to take Yukari, Ben had found the perfect place. It was a park about half an hour out of Ooarai, which had within it a large field of dandelion flowers, which he remembered was Yukari's favorite flower...

Now all he had to do was talk to her parents about stealing their daughter away on her birthday.

"I just hope Erwin is keeping her busy today..." Ben mused to himself as he finished his morning tea and began getting ready to go to the Yukari's house.

---Timeskip: Time to B-Day, 24 hours---

Ben Whistled to himself as he approached Yukari's house, trying to eliminate some of his nerves.

He stopped as he approached the door and heard the door bell ring as he stepped inside.

As he walked into the reception area he was greeted by Yukari's father, "Hey Ben. How are you today?"

"I'm good thanks Mr Akiyama, and yourself?"

"Not too bad. If you're looking for Yukari I'm afraid you just missed her, she left with her friend Riko about 10 minutes ago."

Ben let out a sigh of relief upon hearing this, "That's okay, I'm actually here to talk to you", he responded as Mrs Akiyama walked into the room.

"Hello Ben ~" she greeted.

"Hello Mrs Akiyama, its nice to see you again~"

"Its nice to see you too~ So what can we help you with?" She asked.

"He said he wanted to talk to us" Mr Akiyama added, with him and Mrs Akiyama turning to face Ben.

"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Mr Akiyama asked.

"Well... I was wondering if I could take Yukari out on her birthday..." He stuttered out, trying to fight his nerves.

"Oh Really?" Mr Akiyama asked in a serious yet questioning tone.

"Ah, y-yes sir" Ben replied.

Mr and Mrs Akiyama turned to each other and smiled, letting out a small laugh to each other. Seeing this, a surprised look formed on Ben's face.

"I think she would like that very much~" Mrs Akiyama said with a warm smile.

"R-Really?" He replied, shocked at her response.

"Of course, she's talked about you everyday for the past couple of months~" Mrs Akiyama added.

"I... I don't know about that..." Ben responded as his face started to heat up.

"Its true~ You've really made her happy~"

He smiled upon hearing this, sensing that he had their approval to tell Yukari how he felt about her.

"You know, when I first met you I didn't really know what sort of guy you'd be..." Mr Akiyama started, "But you've acted like a gentleman every time I've talked to you, not to mention how happy I know you've made Yukari. Riko also told me that you've helped her when she needed it most, and that you protected her, and for that I thank you~" Mr Akiyama finished bowing his head to Ben , a gesture that he happily returned.

"You don't have to thank me sir, I just treated her the way she deserves to be treated~" Ben said confidently, feeling most of his nerves melt away.

"Riko also told me that you have feelings for Yukari and want to confess those feelings to her..." Mr Akiyama said with a serious look on his face, this led to his heart rate increasing... Again.
