Chapter 1~Alyssa/Ben

Alyssa's POV

The call came in at exactly 5:32 p.m on Tuesday. Since then, I've been alone. My parents were shot and killed in an armed robbery at our local CVS.

Yesterday, social services have come to my house explaining that since I was 17, I was not a legal adult , I would have to live in an orphanage. Yah, I think not.

So, as of now, I am running through the forest to get away from everything. I've been running for about 2 hours now and I had no idea where I was going.

Suddenly, I tripped on a tree root and fell down with a loud, "Uumph! I looked back at my foot and it was bent in an inhuman way. My foot was officially broken.

I heard a rustling and I cried out for help. A face appeared through the bushes. The man looked to be in his early twenties with brown hair in a quiff.

"OMG ARE YOU OKAY?" he said running over to help me.

"Just peachy" I muttered. The man looked at me with sympathy.

"Here let me help you back to my house, my friends can heal you up no problem." he said to me. Normally I would have been like, 'I just met you, I wouldn't come back to your house' but I was injured and could use some help, so I agreed. "I'm Ben by the way" he smiled

"I'm Alyssa" I smiled back. He scooped me up and began walking in the direction towards his house.

"I must warn you, my friends aren't normal. Let's just say that they are extremely tall." He stated. I just though he meant like 7 foot or something so I let it go since te cold never bothered me anyway. Haha just kidding.

Ben walked for about 30 minutes before we came to a house. I smiled because it looked really cozy.

Ben's POV

I walked up to my house that was connected to my friends home while carrying Alyssa. I dug out my key and opened the door and walked inside.

I just couldn't get over the fact how beautiful she was. She was so outgoing and humorous. She looked to be about 17 so she would be the perfect girl to break Carter out of his shell. The poor boy has been lonely for years since Drew has had his girlfriend for 3 years now and I just started dating my girlfriend from college.

I walked towards the door that connected my house to the Carter and Drew's house.

"Are you ready to meet my roommates?" I asked. She simply nodded.

Alyssa's POV

Ben carried me through the door into this giant house. Like every piece of furniture was 50x my height. What the heck?!?

"CARTER, DREW IM HOME AND I BROUGHT SOMEONE THAT NEEDS OUR HELP!" Ben screamed at the top of his lungs. Suddenly I felt a shuddering in my body, then another. Following the quakes, a huge head popped into view and then the rest of the 500 feet tall body.

I started to freak out. "WHEN YOU SAID YOUR FRIENDS WERE TALL, I THOUGHT YOU MEANT LIKE 7 FEET NOT 500! OMG GIANTS EXIST!" All Ben could do was chuckle. Then the giant began to chuckle.

"Hello, I'm Drew and yes I'm a giant, but I'm as harmless as can be. Now Ben, what does she need?"

"She broke her foot on a root and I need you to help heal it with that magic thingy you and Carter do. Speaking of which, where is the rascal?" Ben replied

"I'm Alyssa by the way!" I yelled up because this giant seemed harmless like he said.

"Nice to meet you, and Carter is in his room like always. The poor lad is so lonely now a days." Drew replied.

Just then the quakes started again. Another giant was coming. When I saw him round the corner, my jaw dropped.

He. was. gorgeous.
