Today is the last night I'll be staying in my room, in my house, along with my parents coz tomorrow we will be going to resort that is booked for my marriage & from there I'll be directly going to Khanna mansion i.e my sasural ....
From they after tomorrow onwards all the pre wedding ceremonies will be started & here the list of that....
• Haldi - they after tomorrow in the morning
• Mehendi - the same day in the evening
• Sangeet - the next day after mehendi in the evening
• Marriage - the following day after Sangeet in the evening
• Reception - the following day after marriage in the night
After the marriage my surname will be changed to Khanna & I'll be addressed Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna.... I know every girl has to go through the same as mine.... some times a question arises why girls should leave their house, why can't boys? Why should we change our surname why can't we retain it..... but the only answer we get is... it is tend to happen like that as per our tradition & customs!!
There are lot of memories here in this house, I was born & bought up here, I played here since my childhood, my school life, my college life everything was done from here & now I've to leave this house... it's not that I'll not come here again but that will be different because at that time I'll be someone's wife, I'll be no more Mehta.... just a mere thought of changing my surname which was given by my father bringing tears in eyes.
I'm gonna miss my papa & mamma a lot, being a single child to my parents they have pampered me a lot & never said no for anything, even before I ask for anything they used to arrange everything .... will it be same in my in-laws as well ? Will my husband & in-laws supports me in everything I do ?..... if it was not for my parents I'd have never agreed to marry anyone!!

I got up when my mom called me, we've to leave in an hour Avi... please get ready fast, I heard my mom say to which I said okay & went to washroom.... oh I miss all these... how can I live there without my parents ?
When I came downstairs I saw my mom walking here & there while arranging the things required & my dad was busy in assisting workers to dump the things properly in the van. Then my eyes fell on Raunak bhayya, he was talking on phone regarding some arrangements at the resort. He is my dad's big brother's son & am very close to him, it's been only a week since he came back from London & this is the main reason he was not there during my engagement!
Roaming in the whole house I came out & stood near the car & that is when Tridha came, saying hi she hugged me while I reciprocated. She was about to talk something but Raunak bhayya stood infront of us by taking my name....
Avvu..... I heard him
Bhayya ..... I called him
Without saying anything he hugged me & I heard him saying ...
Princess it's okay it happens with every girl & you can come here when ever you want ..... I heard him say
I didn't respond anything.....
Princess.... saying this he cupped my face
Bha....yya..... I was interrupted by my bro
No need to say anything, I can understand & trust me everything will be fine ..... saying this he wiped my tears which were rolling down my cheek
