Since morning I was nervous thinking of my engagement I tried to divert my mind by keeping myself busy in office work but nothing helped. I've never discussed these things with anyone but today I did that with Arav bhayya.
I couldn't stop myself from sharing my feelings with him when he asked me what's the problem. After listening to me patiently he told me only one thing it is quite normal to be nervous & everything will be fine as the time passes.
Standing near the stage along with my bhayya & bhabhi I saw her coming downstairs wearing a simple lehenga yet looking breathtaking, for a sec I totally forgot that I was against the marriage & I kept staring at her without blinking my eyes.
Hearing the hooting & clapping I've realised that I've engaged to Avni & within a month we'll be married. I was shocked would be an understatement when I heard that announcement, my brother called us for a couple dance......
We stood at the centre of the hall focus light was falling on us all eyes were glancing us & we could hear clapping the sound. Even her condition was same as mine nervousness can be completely seen on both of our faces.
Taking her hand in mine we started dancing to the song playing it was a romantic song, I could hear her heart racing matching with mine. Bending her down a little, having her one hand in my hand while my another hand wrapped around her waist & hers was resting on my shoulder we stood in that position while sharing a eye lock.
We completely lost ourselves in each other if we wouldn't have heard clapping sound we would've been in that position only god knows till how long. Moving away we stood in opposite direction without looking at each other.
I couldn't find her anywhere then I saw her coming from other direction along with Neela ma & her friend Tridha & we again had a eye lock.

When I was having my dinner I heard Avni taking my name & I turned towards in her direction.....
Neil..... I heard say
Yeah..... I replied
Are you free tomorrow, I mean can you come down to my boutique I've to take your measurements for other functions...... I heard her say shyly
Yeah sure no problem, at what time you want me to come down..... I asked her
It's your call, I'll be free tomorrow...... she said while smiling
Hmmm okay then I'll be coming around 11 may be..... I told her while smiling
Okay & I'll messa..... she was interrupted in between by Nidhi bhabhi
Neil so we can go together to boutique..... I heard her say
It will be perfect Nidhi di..... I heard Avni say
Okay bhabhi...... I said while smiling
Nidhi bhabhi excused herself when Arav bhayya called her leaving so us alone & we continued munching our food & after some time she broke the silence.....
Neil what colours do you like, actually I heard our families talking that we've to wear similar colour outfits for functions so thought of asking you..... I heard her say
There are no such particular colours anything would be fine & moreover you're expert in this field so you decide..... I said smiling
But still, anyways tomorrow you'll be coming right so we'll decide then..... she said while smiling
Okay...... I said
I must say she is very good looking but looks more beautiful when she smiles.... gosh am praising a girl..... coming out of my thoughts I started the conversation
Avni...... I called her
Haan Neil..... saying this she lifted her head which was facing the plate till now
Are you free this weekend? Actually my friends are coming from abroad so they wanna meet you & I didn't gave any commitment as I wanted to confirm with you...... I said her, I swear I was feeling nervous when I was telling this to her
I don't have any problem...... she said looking at me
Thank you...... I replied to which she smiled while blinking her eyes
If that incident wouldn't have happened with my friend I swear I'd have fallen for her completely by now. No doubt she is so good having a good nature & any boy would be lucky to have her as a life partner.
Even if I want to trust her I cannot as that past keeps haunting me, it's been almost 2 years but still am unable to come out of that. As everyone says let's go with the flow.....
Neil it's time to leave I heard my dad say to which I said okay & moved in his direction. Taking blessings from my to be in-laws & biding nye to Avni & Tridha I moved towards the car & after that we drove off.

In a month there will be someone who will be sharing my room, my bed, my cupboard, my dressing table, every other thing in my room. A mere thought of this making me think in other way but I decided to keep a halt to these thoughts & decided to just go with the flow!!!!

I was tossing on my bed since 1 hour as sleep was away from my eyes. Flashes of incidents that happened today were playing infront of my eyes as a slide show as if someone was projecting those pics in a presentation.
In a month I'll be leaving my room, my house, my parents & everything. How can I leave all these when am so attached but I've to do as I don't have any other option. My surname will be changed, my priorities will be changed, I'll live in someone's else house with different people.
How can I adjust myself for that surroundings, keeping a halt to my thoughts I decided to go with the flow!!!
