As you know, you were the first boy I ever loved. Ours was my favourite relationship of them all as we were just so crazy about each other. Everything was new and exciting even after 18 months together. You taught me everything I know about sex! We had a lot of fun and experienced a lot of 'firsts' together even though you were a bit of a player before we got together. My real-life 'bad-boy-turned-good'.
I loved how arrogant you were, but at the same time quite vulnerable. You made me famous in our little home town because everyone knew you. Even now, if I go back there, seventeen-year-old kids who weren't even born when we together refer to me as 'Cameron's ex'!
Twenty years on, I've only got good memories of our relationship so you will always have a place in my heart. Occasionally seeing your posts on Facebook - your life, your marriage, your daughter - makes me burst with happiness. I hope you still have fond memories too.
