Boyfriend (sort of): 2011-2012
Hi Sam,
I wasn't sure if I should include you in my letters to people I have loved as I don't think I loved you. But you certainly had a big impact on me. And it feels weird referring to you as a boyfriend as I think you had many women on the go given your job meant you were away so often. I mean, you lived in a hotel. Who does that?
But I'd never been with anyone like you before - you are an amazing, interesting guy and you excited me.
I'll never forget our first date, which was the best first date I'd ever been on. It lasted from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. before heading back to yours. You were just so open about stuff - and it made me open up too.
We had so many great times and you taught me a lot about life without meaning to. You have ten years on me and a totally different lifestyle (you were rich!) that opened my eyes and my heart.
Maybe see you again one day.
