                  ~ LIANA ~

After the events of last night that unfolded, my parents decided on letting me keep my freedom and not send me to an all-girls convent where I would have to pledge my life to god for the unforeseeable future.

I'm on thin ice for the next few weeks as a result of my actions, I am now grounded until my parents say otherwise.

"You are to go to school and come straight home after school. No pit stops or stopping to tie your laces, do you hear me young lady" I can sense his angry tone knowing that he's not particularly happy with me but I can't help but wonder what Talon is doing right now.

"We are very disappointed in you, young lady! I can't even tell you how upset your mother was." dads anger turned to disappointment as he stared at me, he's probably wondering whether this was the right move coming back to our home town.

My parents and I had moved from this town just after my fourth birthday, Dad had taken a job in Sydney to coach at Waverly college for boys to get their team back in shape and after that we moved from state to state.

I'm not really all that upset after knowing full well I got off lightly, my dad is quite a scary man when he's upset, but all in all...I would totally do it all again.

Thinking about the day I had yesterday it wasn't such a terrible ending to the day.

There's... something different about Talon, his demeanour screams danger but there's some sort of magnetism that makes me want to know everything about him.

I feel safe around him even though I don't even know him, I have never met anyone like him before.

He's guarded but also has a soft side to him, it's like I've known him my entire life.

Some would say that today was technically my second day at school but I'm gonna say its officially my first day, especially the way my day started yesterday, something was bound to go wrong.

Today I started my day the way it was supposed to, no running late or bumping into chests made of muscle, it's been a stress-free morning and has gone off without a hitch so far.

I've made my way to my first class before the bell rings, so far so good.

I scan my eyes over the classroom seeing everyone animated in their conversations and I notice an empty seat that's not quite at the front and not too far up the back, as I start to walk over to the empty seat I notice a few people staring and whispering.

Most probably whispering about me but I wipe away those thoughts and take a seat.

As if I need to make myself even more nervous than I already am.

Just as I'm about to get my books out for English, in walks Talon.

Everyone stops what they're doing and it goes silent for what seems like forever before he spots me staring at him and we make eye contact.

My breath hitches at the sight of him, and as if on cue my heart starts thrumming that little bit faster.

I notice a hint of a smile cross his face as he walks towards me with those stupid dimples.

"Looks like I won't need to rescue you from the convent after all then?" He says with a sly smirk on his face as he goes to sit down in the empty seat behind me. Rolling my eyes at the sarcasm from his comment.
