my home is warm
but no different than the chaos outside
thunderstorms shake the city
lightening ignites darkened rooms
the rain pounds
my head feels just as
cloudy
will I never see the sun again?
no more colour
no more warmth
just cold hard rain
aggressive storms
the storms outside help me forget
the ones inside
