Y/n's POV

"What did you just say?" Damon asks running his hands through his hair.

"Luke stopped the spell." Bonnie said calmly.

"No we have to start the spell again.   Y/n is on the other side." He says a tear falling from his eye.

"That was our last chance." She says taking Damon's hand. I walk in and only Bonnie can see me. "She's here its time to say goodbye." She walks out of the crypt.

"Y/n you promised you would make it out!  You shouldn't have gotten into my car!  It's all my fault I shouldn't have let you come. Please don't leave me I can't live it out you!  PLEASE!" He cries out sliding down the wall.

I put my hand on his cheek which he can feel. "I'm sorry baby. I love you and I will be back. I will find a way to make my way back to you. Just don't be so reckless while I'm gone please. I love you." I take my hand off his cheek.

"No don't leave me please. I can't live without you!" He screams.

"Goodbye Damon, I love you." I say as I walk out.

I take a good look at everyone as they wonder where Bonnie went. We look and see a bright light.

"It's falling apart." Bonnie says.

"I'm sure there are a thousands people we would rather do this with but." She grabs my hand.

"Couple hundred at most." I say.

"Do you think it will hurt?" She asks.

"I don't kno.." Then the light consumes us.

Damon's POV

After y/n and Bonnie left I decided I was hungry. I went a few towns over and destroyed all of it. Oh and guess what, my little humanity switched got turned off in the process... Whoops.

Soon I went back to the boarding house to see hero hair setting on the couch with a book.

"Where have you been?" He asks putting the book down.

"I've been strolling through the park. Where do you think I've been." I sarcastically say.

"Look Damon you can't be so reckless. I get you lost y/n but she would not want you to do this." He says gesturing to my bloody shirt.

"Oh im not doing this because I lost her, stefan. I'm doing this because I want to. I could care less about her. Actually I am glad she's gone." I chuckled.

"You flipped the switch didn't you?" He asks with worry on his face.

"Ding ding ding and the prize goes to Stefan." I say raising his hand.  "Now go fix your hero hair or something because I have better things to do like go feed off of sorority girls. Gotta go. Byeeeeeeee." I walk off leaving him standing there.

Y/n's POV

I look at Bonnie then our hands. And we let go of each other. "Well that got awkward fast." I say.  "Where are we?"

"I don't know." She says looking confused.

I feel for my fangs. "Well I'm still a vampire." I say.

We walk around and realize the grill is not blown up. And Elena's house is still here.

I pick up a news paper off the ground and look at the date. "Bonnie look." I say handing it to her.
