Miwa's POV
After two months of staying in Italy with Rintarou, here we are again back in Japan to continue some unfinished business.
Rintarou isn't with me right now since he's got to go to the store to buy some gifts for his daughter. Well me? I have also a gift for my daughter and that is... justice...
After stepping in the house, the first one I saw is my second eldest son, Ukyo.
"Oka-san. Welcome back!" He takes my hand and kisses the back portion of it. "Is this about the case?"
"Yes, my son. Can you call Masaomi? I've got some new leads about Miko's disappearance twenty years ago."
Ukyo obediently nods while taking his phone. I am glad because I raised him and his siblings right.
Afterwards, Ukyo escorted me towards the couch and offered me tea and then, sat down beside me.
"So, what are those leads?"
"I'll tell it later when Masaomi arrives."
It was silent before we heard the elevator's 'ding'. It was Masaomi who just came home from work. I smiled at him and he smiles back.
"Welcome back, oka-san."
Alright, I'll start my discussions with them...

"So, where's Miko-san right now? Is she in her room?" I ask my two sons after drinking my tea.
"Mikoto's with Yuusuke, Subaru and Ema right now. She's an exchange student in their university." Masaomi responds, sitting stiffly like a statue.
"Ah, that's good for her. Now, about the leads. The hospital where I gave birth to Yuusuke and Mikoto said that one of the nurses who assisted me during my labor is someone from the Nakamoris"
I paused to drink tea. Ukyo and Masaomi are quietly listening to me.
"The investigation of the case is still ongoing and it's already three years since it started. I know that we decided to leave the Nakamoris out of this but we have no choice! We need to confront them, asap."
"But oka-san... what about Mikoto? What will you do if she finds out about this. Confronting the Nakamoris would make MIkoto aware of our actions" Masaomi looks at me worriedly. I only sighed.
"Everything's good if she doesn't find out. I don't want to hurt my daughter. I know that she still have some empathy with her old family. So it's really better if we let her stay out of this."
"What? Confronting them? What are you three up to?" I looked above seeing Mikoto by the porch. She is with her twin and Subaru. Oh no, how can I explain this?

Mikoto
I sat on the couch in front of mother, Masa-nii and Ukyo-nii. So they have been investigating my disappearance twenty years ago behind my back. I don't know what to feel about this.
"W-we're sorry for not telling you about this dear! I just don't want you to hate your old family. They've been there for you longer than us! But as your real mother, I also want to know why you disappeared."
I didn't reply. I just closed my eyes and let out a heavy sigh.
"Miko-san... are you alright?" Yuusuke who is sitting beside me asks me while tapping my shoulder. I looked at him and smiled. After that, I turned back to my mother and older brothers.
