Chapter 7 - Sing For You

3rd Person

The sound of the guitar filled the hospital room. There, Mikoto sang as the wind gently blows towards her. Her evaluation day is only a few hours from now yet she managed to calm herself down, well, thanks to her siblings, of course.

Her strumming stopped when her sister, Ema, entered the room along with her brothers, Fuuto and Iori. Todays a holiday so her siblings who are studying are visiting her, minus Subaru, Yuusuke and Wataru since they have their matters, like Subaru and his basketball practice and Yuusuke with his extra credits because he screwed up in school and Ukyo's strict treatment on Wataru. They look at her in awe while Mikoto got flustered and a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.

"You have an amazing voice, Miko-san!" Ema smiles, slowly clapping her hands. That made Mikoto's face even redder.

"Not bad, onee-chan. But mine is still better." Fuuto said with pride, which made Mikoto a little offended. She remembered how Yuusuke opened up to her about how an asshole Fuuto is. And well, I guess she's starting to agree with her twin.

"You have a potential, Miko-san, I'm glad that you have another hobby." Iori gently smiled which made Mikoto fully flustered.

After snapping back to reality, Mikoto placed her guitar near her bedside shelf and looked at her watch.

07:45

Fifteen minutes till her evaluation.

A few months from now, when Mikoto is fully recovered, she will go back to school to continue with her studies. She has two choices, Bright Centrair, where Iori studies, and Hinode High School, where Ema, Yuusuke and Fuuto studies. Her first choice is obviously Bright Centrair because she's been dreaming on studying there since middle school. But she'll be okay in Hinode High School because she has siblings there and she'll be close with her twin.

Even though how much she wants to enter her dream school, she needs to prove herself that she's worthy to be one of their students. So before transferring there, she needs to be evaluated.

"Are you ready for your evaluation, Miko-san?" Ema sits beside her. Giving her sister her sweetest smile.

"I guess so, sis..." Mikoto looks away and scratches the back of her neck. "I've been studying nonstop since last month. I just hope I won't get a mind block."

"You can do it!" Iori smiles, giving Mikoto a thumbs up which made his sister blush a bit. Iori is known to be the genius of the family and the two of them have been spending a lot of time together in the past three months. So the days she spent time with him made her realize how bad she is at math and made her wonder how she balanced her other subjects with sports, except math

"Blah blah blah, just do well on that evaluation thingy. I don't want to see the girl version of the idiot walking around the school." Fuuto crosses his arms, rolling his eyes. His statement made Mikoto REALLY offended that she plans on hitting the fifteen year old with her guitar. But then she got influenced by Louis' gentleness that she calmed down.

Just then, the door suddenly opened revealing a man carrying a folder full of papers. Iori stood up and bowed.

"Ah, Jiro-sensei, nice seeing you!"

The man looked at Iori and smiled "Nice seeing you here too, Asahina-kun." The man averted his gaze on the red head who is straightly looking at him "You must be Mikoto Asahina? Are you ready?"

Mikoto only nodded. She seems to be calm but her eyes are filled with tense and worry.

"Alright then..." Jiro then placed the folder on Mikoto's study desk. Iori assisted him while Ema assisted Mikoto on placing her towards her wheelchair and moved her towards the desk. Fuuto only watched them.
