It is so amazing to see that my little story has made it to this milestone, really makes all the hours of writing and designing worth it in the end!
I don't know if anyone has noticed but the chapters have been getting a little bit longer as time has gone by. The first chapter was nearly 5000 words and the most recent chapter (Chapter 15) was over 7000! I'm sorry if it seems like a lot but when I get writing and if I'm passionate, I just can't stop! I like to treat each chapter like it's an episode and structure it accordingly.
Unfortunately, because the chapters have been getting longer, I do get burnt out from writing and need to take a break for a while. I'm sorry and as soon as I'm ready to write again, I will pour all my essence into creating a good chapter.
Another thing that has been delaying chapters has been art. When I commission art, it generally takes about a week, maybe 10 days to get completed and sent back to me. This is because I order one character at a time and pace myself. Now, I'm looking into expanding the repertoire and including not just art of the characters in their coords but maybe their Special Appeals or action scenes (let me know what you think). The only problem with doing this however, means that the wait time for art is extended to over two weeks and I'd really like art to debut with a chapter instead of posting a chapter and then going back and adding the art in. What would you guys like? Let me know! Please and thank you!
But at the end of the day, I want to thank you all for supporting my story and reading it. Because of it, I've gotten to speak with some of you here and on Discord and Amino as well. I want to assure you that I fully intend on continuing this story (just it might take me a little bit to get there). So please bear with me and I promise there will be more chapters and updates soon!
