"Who's this Chase Keith?" Maddison asks her sister. She settles down her bean bag and stared at her.

"Huh? He's just a friend." Mackenzie reasoned out.

"He better be. I don't want him to ruin the chances of Jenzie happening." Maddie joked.

Mackenzie rolls her eyes. He's just a friend. I think I like John.

"So, what 'ya thinking?" Maddie asks again.

"Nothing." Mackenzie snaps back.

"Right." Maddie rolls her eyes. "Anyways, gotta go."

As the blonde goes out of her bedroom, Mackenzie lies down her bed. Her phone dings.

Mackenzie chuckled at Johnny's dm. That guy.

None. She answered. She shut off her phone and stared at her ceiling, until she fell asleep.

Mackenzie woke up the next day to her phone's alarm.

Mackenzie groaned. But when she remembered that she and Annie are meeting today, she shot up.

They are gonna meet for lunch and they're gonna hang after.

"Annie!" Mackenzie squealed as she and her bestfriend run towards each other. They squeeze each other to a tight hug as they laugh.

"So, how's my bestfriend?" Annie asks as they pull away.

"Oh, great." She answers.

"How's you and Asher?" She asks, nudging Annie jokingly.

"Great." She blushes.

"Aww. My bestfriend's deeply in love." She jokes.

"Stop!" Annie says while giggling.

"How 'bout you and John?" Annie  asks, winking.

Now it's time for Mackenzie to blush.

Annie laughs. "You know Kenz, you can't always deny your feelings for him."

"Nor be with other guys to cover up." She adds.

Mackenzie roll her eyes playfully. This is gonna be a long day.
