Chapter 7

When I got to school I saw Lucus. I had tear stains on my face.

"Hey." I said when I went up to him

"Please stay away from me." He looked really worried. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"What?" I said to him. Now I was worried.

"Look it's for your own good I don't want him to hurt you."

"Who Lucus, who wants to hurt me?"

"Just please stay away." he was almost in tears

"Please tell me." I said

"I just can't." he said running away.

"Lucus!" I said

Lucus P.O.V

Ring ring ring

I took my phone out of my pocket. My dad. I answered

"I told you to stay away from that girl." he sounded angry.

"I know, I'm sorry just please don't hurt her. She didn't do anything wrong."

"I want you to bring her to me."

"No, I can't do that, she already going through enough."

"You heard me," he said and hung up.

I scratched the back of my head.

He's always watching I can't get away.

I always knew he would come back to get me.

But Nadia was so innocent I couldn't let him take her. "She did nothing wrong.

I just have to stay away from her and everything will be fine." I thought to myself knowing that nothing will be fine.

I bet he already has cameras on her where ever she goes.

I should have never even talked to her. But I have to protect her no matter what. Even if that means me dying. Her life is way more valuable than mine. She has her whole life ahead of her while I'm just here to be here. So I don't have to be at home all the time with "him"

The whole time I was worrying and thinking about her. I saw her sit alone at lunch I so badly wanted to go to her and talk to her. But she never even eats her lunch. She always writes in her notebook.

I felt a vibration in my pocket. I got up from my lunch table and into the bathroom.

Tom: don't forget

Me: I can't do it. I just can't

Tom: you know what happened to the last girl you "couldn't" so it to. Don't you

Me: yes but..

Tom: no buts now do it after school and remember I'm always watching.
