Rin - Storm

"[Y/N] Come over!"

"Why?"

"Cause I'm bored!!!!!!"

"I have homework plus I have to do a little revision on demons for cram school."

"You can do your homework another day, anyways you can learn everything about demons from me. PLEASE [Y/N]!"

"Ask someone else."

"Ask who? Yukio's on a mission he isn't going to be back until tomorrow! Bon's a stubborn idiot! Shima's to scared to go outside cause of the bugs! And everyone else is either shopping or somewhere far away. [Y/N] I'm so bored please come!"

"Urg...FINE! But you're cooking dinner for me then."

"Deal!" And with that you hanged up the phone. You loved hanging out with Rin but he always has such bad timing. You really wanted to get your homework over and done with but c'est la vie. You packed up your stuff and headed for the Okumara brother's dorm.

You knocked on the front door once...

"[Y/N] YOU CAME!!!!!" the half demon ripped the door open and hugged you.

"GAH...Rin...you're...killing...me!"

"Oh sorry!" He apologised as he let go.

"You really need to learn how to control that demonic strength, and what do you mean 'you came' of course I came you practically begged me to." You said once you gained your breath again.

"I just thought for while you wouldn't come cause...I don't know you just wouldn't."

You sighed at the fact that he was still insecure with friends.

"So are we going to do something fun or what?" You asked.

-For the next few hours you guys did something fun-

"Iktadamiasu!" You and Rin were finally having dinner and as always Rin's food was DELICIOUS!

"How on earth is it possible for you to be better at cooking than me?"

"Well (nom) you are (nom) better at (nom) making (nom) dessert (nom) than me (nom) [Y/N]"

"You're just saying that to make me feel good. And don't talk with your mouth full idiot."

"Yes Mum!"

Whilst the two of you were having dinner Rin spilled a whole glass of juice on you. You tried cleaning yourself up but it was inevitable you needed to have a shower ASAP.

"You go have a shower it's down the corridor. I'll clean everything up." Rin told you.

It was only after having a shower that you realised that you had no clothes to change into.

"Rin I don't have any clothes to wear!" You shouted out.

"Wear something of mine!" He replied back from the kitchen.

You went through Rin's cupboard and tried to find something to wear""

"You're still cleaning up the juice?"

"Yeah! The stupid thing is so stick-......What are you wearing?"

You wear wearing one of Rin's black t shirts which on him looked fine but on you, was a piece of cloth almost coming up to you're knees and falling off your right shoulder.

"It's the only thing I could find ok." It was embarrassing wearing his clothes let alone it being too big for you.

"You know I don't mind you wearing my trousers." He said.

"You t shirt is like a dress on me imagine how big your trousers would be! I rather look like this then be a clown."

"Alright but you can't go back to your dorm like that it's raining now, and I doubt your clothes are going to dry anytime soon."

"What! Why is it raining now!?"

"Looks like you're going to have to stay here for the night."

"I guess so."

-You and Rin talked for a while (after he cleaned up) -

"(Yawn) Aw man the rain hasn't let up at all." You commented.

"Yeah it's gotten worse. You can go to sleep if you want [Y/N]."

"You wouldn't mind will you?"

"Nah I'm tired myself."

After a few minutes you were snuggling up in bed in the room next to Rin's.

-a few hours later-

The terrible noise woke you up. You stared out the darkened window. A flash of light instantly followed by the horrific clash. You hated it. You hated lightening and thunder. It always reminded you of the day you so badly wanted to forget. More lightening more thunder it got to the point you were so afraid you ran to Rin's room.

You found him in his bed, sleeping. Completely immune to the noises outside.

"Rin..." You didn't like being alone while your worst fear was prowling outside, you so badly wanted to wake Rin up.

"Rin..." But he was sleeping so peacefully (ok well not completely peacefully. He was snoring really loudly.) and you would feel really guilty to wake him.

Out of nowhere there was a huge clash as if it came from right outside the window. You tried to minimise your scream but it was still heard by the demon child.

"[Y/N]..." He called while still half asleep.

You were crouching near his bed with you arms covering your head in attempt to block everything out. Once he heard the thunder and saw the lightening Rin understood the situation completely.

He got out bed and embraced you warmly.

"It's alright [Y/N] nothing's going to hurt you." He whispered into your ear trying to comfort you.

There was another crash and your whole body started to shake. Rin knew your fear was getting worse by the second. Your body was becoming cold. Blinded by terror you didn't notice that Rin had covered you with a blanket. He pressed you quivering head on to his chest and wrapped his tail around you, while he rested his back on the bed.

In his attempt to warm you up he let out his blue flames. Strong enough for you to regain your body heat but weak enough not to burn you. It took a while of him stroking your hair and whispering kind words before you started to calm down.

"[Y/N] there's nothing to be afraid of. I'm here and I'll protect you. I'll always protect you." He said this holding you closer to him.

You looked up at him with tear stained [E/C] eyes. "Always?" You asked puzzled.

He gently took grasp of you chin and made your lips level with his.

"Always."

It had occurred to you that there was a possibility of Rin kissing you but you never imagined it like this. You thought it would rough, inexperienced. However in this moment with his blue flames surrounding you, protecting you from the horror you've feared for so long. With both his human side and daemon side showing all his wonderful traits. This moment unveiled the loving and caring side of Rin the side that you loved best. That night you slept in Rin's arm, the arms that protected you.

~Extra~

"I hope Ni-san did his homework or I swear I'll- WHAT THE HELL!!!!" Yukio has come back from his mission and found the kitchen a mess (since Rin only cleaned up the juice) all types of entertainment lying around everywhere. Three of his glasses broken. And the thing that disturbed him the most was his older twin brother literally sleeping on a really pale [Y/N] while having drawings all over their faces.
