"My what?" Jessica asks with a small giggle. "A childhood superhero," he chuckled. There was a small awkward tension in the room, Jessica admired how Haden was so brave back there.

"I'll go prepare some dinner, I assume you're hungry," Haden said, awkwardly scratching his arm. "Not really, I'm all good." She lies.

"You've been knocked out for half an hour and your stomach couldn't stop growling, I'll go make some dinner now." Haden protests and leaves to the kitchen.

"I-" she sighs and gets out of bed, wandering around the bedroom. The walls had a few picture frames hung up, a few paintings but no photos. "Must be the guest bedroom then." She thinks.

Curiously, she walks out of the guest bedroom through the dark hallways. She stops at a door where there was a sign on the door that read, "Private".

When she grabbed a hold on the doorknob, she realizes the door was locked. "I thought you were special, but it seems like you're also a curious person as well." Jessica jumps at Haden's sudden loud voice.

"I'm sorry, I was looking for the- uh- bathroom," Jessica mumbles. "The bathroom is over there to the right." he pointed to the door across to the Private door.

She thanked him as she opened the bathroom door and made sure to lock it behind her. She was very too curious about what was behind that door on the other side. "I wonder what it is," she whispers.

She didn't want to sound rude if she were to ask him, but at the same time, what if he's a murderer? Or a mafia?

She bites her nails, nervously, a habit of her own when she's nervous or scared. She took deep breaths and flushed the toilet, pretending she already done her business. "Should I ask him or should I not?"

Opening the door, she walks out, casually and caught up with Haden who was busy preparing a homemade salad with steak.

"Uh- Haden, I wanted to ask you about that door over there." She began to fumble her fingers around, never once in her life had she ever felt so much scared.

"What about it?" He asks, two plates in both of his hands as he swiftly passes by her. "I was wondering what's behind it?" She asks. "Sit, I'll explain some other time. You did say you wanted to take some time, starting all over." Haden signaled her to sit down next to him.

"Y-Yeah, I guess so." She grabs her fork and knife and began to cut the steak into pieces. She struggles to cut the hard-cooked meat and Haden notices. He smiles, taking the utensils from her and cutting them himself.

"You don't have to-" she stops when Haden was already done with cutting the meat into small pieces. "Thank you." They both ate in silence, not bothered by the wind that was ruffling through the tall trees.

"Your home looks so expensive and unique." She breaks the silence by commenting on Haden's house. "Thank you, my father brought it for me as a birthday gift." She didn't know her professor was that rich.

She's seen tons of stuff Professor Johns has purchased, but she didn't know he was THAT rich. "Wow, I didn't know that." They finished up their supper, not knowing that a roar of thunder cracked across the night sky.

"Oh no, I have to get back. Jordan must be worried about me." She pushes her chair back, going back to the guest bedroom. Her arm is suddenly pulled back, seeing Haden's worried" face.

"It's too dangerous for you to go out there. I would you drop you off in my car but the roads will be too slippery. There's a storm coming in," Haden said, letting go of her arm.

"Do I have to stay here?" "Better than dying out there." She huffs, not having no other choice but to stay. "I don't have any pajamas to sleep, I need clothes for tomorrow. I have classes-" Haden pulls her to his bedroom, sitting her on his bed, and marched to his closet to find any comfortable clothes.
