The Alpha's Lost Luna

Untitled Part 3

We get inside the house and the party is still in full swing. I exuse myself really quick and run to the kitchen grabbing a shot glass and poring some teqila into it. I pull my head back guling it back before making my way back out of the kitchen and into the office with Jen and Jeff. 

"So you clearly have some question so what are they?" Jeff offers.

"Okay so I have read quite a bit on wherewolfs and other creatures of this kind because it always interested me so I know a fair amount but what I don't get is how I am one? Wouldn't I have known by now?" I ask. 

"Not necessarily. You were never really aware of the surrounding people you were with and because you didn't grow up knowing your wolf seems to be dormant." Jen replies. 

"So I got this from my parents clearly but how was I never told?" I ask. 

"Honestly I don't think anyone knew until I figured it out." She replies. 

"Jeff I have a question for you specifically." I state. 

He nods his head telling me I can ask my question. 

"Because of my knowlege of wherewolfs I know that there is an Alpha, Betas, omega, and then Sudordinates. so Jeff what authority do you hold?" I ask.

"I am Alpha. But how did you know I held any authority at all?" He asks

"I can feel the power radiating off of you." I state in a duh tone.

he nods his head in response.

"And Jen?" I ask.

"I am a Beta." She says simply

I nod my head trying to process everything. 

"What pack is this?" I ask 

"This is the Blood Rose Pack one of the most powerful packs in the country." He says.

"And since you are the Alpha that would make me the Luna right?"  I ask.

"Correct." Jen says.

Both of theme stare at me as I am quiet for a very long time before slowly sitting down on the couch close to me. I try to process everything but my mind is in overdrive.

"I think I need to lay down." I say as the world around me begins to spin.

"Here." Jeff says moving pillows and helping me lay down. When our skin touches sparks erupt all over my skin wherever he touches causing me to instantly pull away.  I close my eyes for a second and try to regulate my breathing. After about what feels like an hour of me laying down and clearing my mind I sit up only to find I am now alone. I slowly stand up and make my way to the door. I open it and look around finding no one and the house is dark.

"What time is it?" I mumble to myself.

I walk down the stairs and walk into the kitchen finding no evidence of a party but instead I see Jen and Jeff sitting on a stool talking to each other, but their conversation ceases when I walk in.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"5am." Jeff. says.

"Ive been laying down that long?" I question.

"Yeah I sent Mel a text to let her know you were staying over." Jen says giving me a smile.

"I think that I am going to give you two a chance to talk alone. If you need anything I will be in the living room." Jen says walking out of the room.

I sigh taking a deep breath and sitting down on the stool Jen was sitting in. We sit in silence for a little bit. He goes to put his hand on my leg but I speak before he can.
