I look out the window and sigh in dispair,my best friend jayden looking over her shoulder at me. "have some confidence. I know we are some of the oldest people here but have some faith!" she's says to me as she starts tidying her stuff away and picking out an outfit to change into. I sigh again and speak up "no point, we'll never get adopted!" slowly getting up and stumbling my way to the closet. I have been here for 15 years, jayden has been here longer as she's 16 nearly 17. I look into my closet picking out the usual. Completely black clothes. It's no surprise that I'm emo you can tell by looking at me. I turn around to jayden as she has a purple emo outfit.

We quickly got our phones while heading downstairs. We entered the room where the parents check us out. Jayden always had hope to get adopted but I gave up at the age of 10. We took our place at the back because of how tall we are. I mean Im easily seen at 5'11 but that is nothing compared to jayden. That girl is abnormally tall at the height of 6'1 its almost as if someone stretched her out on a toffee hook.
As we towered over the rest of the girls Julia and her goons started snickering and laughing at us. "hey giraffe" Julia yells at jayden and her dolls start laughing at her. Jayden just ignored her but I was PISSED. Jayden noticed and gave me a look that told me to calm down and that it was nothing to get angry over. I ignored her and stormed over to Julia as she turned her head. "oh... Its you" she said with a disgusted voice. "oh... Its a whore" I say back with an equally disgusted face. Jayden laughs as she walks over and pats me on the back. We hadn't noticed that the people coming to adopt had walked in and were watching the scene unfold.
She looked at me with a horrified expression. "how DARE you speak to me like that. I am superior I should be allowed to make fun of you and your emo bitch of a friend" I was about to say a comeback when jayden yelled out "I'm NoT eMo I'm ScEnE" and I burst out laughing. In my fit I heard a boy laughing and turned around only to gasp.
Standing in the middle of the room was a handsome blond man in his 20's and a beautiful girl around the same age. But they're no strangers to me and jayden. We had no doubt that that was the Sam golbach and katrina Stuart. I try not to scream and see jayden panicking. We just did that I front of our fav you tubers omg... We fucked up. "guess I'll die" I say out loud without realising as they burst into more laughter. "omg jake and colby are gonna love you guys" Sam says giggling.
He turned to Mrs grenadine and said "if you don't mind, we'd like to adopt those two" me and jayden snap our heads towards each other in shock. Mrs grenadine smiles and says "of course! Let me take them back to their room to get their stuff" as she guides us back to our room. "I always knew your time would come" she had to be the kindest woman we had ever met.
I started to get teary eyed as jayden and I ran to hug her. She was an elderly Japanese woman around the age of 75. She took care of us since we first arrived here which was basically since we were born. I don't know what happened with jayden family but my mother died giving birth to me so I was raised in an orphanage with Mrs grenadine as my temporary carer.
We gather our stuff in suitcases and make our way back to our new mum and dad. We get back and see that they have finished up the paper work as Sam took katrina's and my hands and katrina took jayden's which was rather funny to watch as 5'5 kat held hands with 6'1 jayden but they couldn't be happier. As we made it to Sam I mean dad's car we were getting in when a loud thump rang out.
"OW FUCK!"
jayden had smashed her head on the roof while getting in. She rolled on the back seats in agony as mum and dad laughed. I rolled my eyes as she blabbered on about concussing herself. Once we were buckled in dad put the radio on and we started singing stupid meme songs like hit or miss and nickelback songs. I must have fallen asleep cause I woke up when my head hit jaydens and we both groaned loudly.
I looked outside to see a mansion that was bigger than our orphanage. I gaped like a fish and started hitting jayden and she did the same thing. Dad just laughed and started getting our stuff. Just then a guy with a man bun opened the door as he was unmistakably Corey scherer. Jayden and I ran up behind him and as he turned around we screamed "WhAt Is Up FaM " Corey lost his shit and dropped his pizza roll on the ground.
I fell beside the pizza roll and screamed "NoOoOoOoOoO" and I heard jayden mutter "rest in pieces pizza roll you will forever be missed" Corey just started laughing like a kettle boiling while dad and mom walked over to introduce us.
"hey Corey, these are the two we chose, tall girl number one is jayden while tall girl number two is kai." dad said as we waved at him. "wow you guys dye your hair a lot?" he asks. "jayden does a lot more than me I don't know how she still has hair" I state as jayden blushed from embarresment. "well let's head inside cause I'm staving. Katrina said." I could not agree with you more"jayden said as we headed in for the pizza rolls Corey made.
As we stepped inside we saw someone lying on the floor with a ouji board painted on his chest with others chanting Satan. "well this isn't confusing at all" I say as they turn and look at us. "uhm... Hi, Welcome home?" someone says laughing awkwardly.
