Third Times The Charm

Jakes p.o.v

Biltmore. The one place I never wanted to go to again. After what happened last time I had decided that I never wanted to return. I didn't tell the guys the truth about what happened that night and I wasn't planning on doing so. Corey decided not to go since what happened to me scared him. Sam, colby, kai, jayden and I were sitting in the car, Sam and colby in the front and me inbetween the girls.

I could feel my gut yelling at me to do something, Anything to stop this madness and head home but the girls looked so excited to go so I kept my mouth shut. We dropped off at Starbucks and got double chocolate chip cookie frappachinos. The girls were sipping away laughing out loud and I started sweating. I can see us nearing the building and I quietly panic. Kai seems to notice and asks me if I'm OK to which I shakily nod.

We enter the Building and rent out the penthouse suite and as soon as I walk through the door I feel a familiar shiver go down my spine. I turn around and everyone looks at me in concern. "something wrong jake" colby asks worried. "yeah... I swear to god something just touched my ass" I say giggling. The girls burst out into laughter while colby and Sam facepalmed. I walked upstairs towards the piano and sit down while everyone else stays downstairs.

"what do you want from me?" no response, suddenly I feel a cold patch of air hit my shoulder and wrapping around me. I start to panic as it gets hard to breathe and black spots cloud my vision. The last thing I remember is the floor meeting my face.

Jaydens p.o.v

We hear and thud upstairs and look at each other. "where is jake?" dad asks seemingly scared. We panic and start yelling his name. I dart for the stairs and look into the first room. "JAKE!!" I yell and I hear thundering footsteps up the spiral staircase. I run over to him and check to make sure he's breathing. "he's just passed out" I sigh in relief and the others fall down for the same reason as me.

Jake suddenly sits up, panting loudly and sweating. "hey calm down dude it's just us" colby exclaimed patting jakes shoulder. Jake flinched and colby frowned, hurt by his actions. Jake just says he's OK and we make our way throughout the suite. We sit down on the beds and start asking questions.

"Black Dahlia, are you here? "

No response to dad. Colby, kai and I did the same and got no results. "hey jake, you try since you were the one acting up last time" jake gets a dark look on his face at the mention of last time. He remains quiet for a while but finally clears his throat to speak up.

"Black Daliah... Are you here"

"hello~?"

The only answer the whole night. Everyone started losing their shit as jakes expression grew darker. "ask her another question bro, personal ones" jake looks at us with a look and says "I didn't tell you guys this but" and he looks at the floor "why have you been following me?" jake asks quietly as we looked at him in shock.

"j... J... Jak.. Jake?"

"what the hell do you want from me? Didn't get enough satasfaction from last time eh?" jake asks with a dark chuckle. We look at him confused. Suddenly there was a screech and jake flew across the floor. I try to get up but to my surprise I can't get off the bed.

My friends start struggling and jake got picked up and flung like ragdoll into a glass table, shattering it and the shards cutting into him so I do the only thing I can think of which happened to be.

"AuahshUjaJhHHYYHhaGyUajJUua"

I let out an unholy screech as we are let go and I flung myself to jake. His head was bleeding and had glass stuck in him He looked at me with tears in his eyes as he shakily pointed to something behind me. I slowly look behind me and to my horror there is a silvery blue figure floating behind me. The figure laughed and moved through us. I thought we were OK but I got shocked when i heard a giggle.

I turn to see jake laughing as he looked up. His eyes were shinning silver as he slowly got up and looked around.

"wow its been a while but I got a body, a nice one at that~"

I feel my anger flaring up as I looked at the shell of jake with a monster inside of him. Kai stepped forward and yelled "get out of him you BITCH!" I walk forward and punch jakes face as hard as I could. He snapped back to us as the ghost flew across the room with a shriek. I grab jake and threw him over my shoulder. We sprint to the door and out to the car. Staff looking at us in concern over jake bleeding with glass in him. I apologise for the mess while running and dad opens the door for us to get in.

I have jake on my lap as we chucked our bags into the back seats, not bothering to put them in the trunk. Kai sits in the middle beside me as Sam and colby get in the front. Jake turns, straddling me and hugs me around the neck, crying into my neck. My heart shatters at his broken sobs and I cradle him until we get back to the house.

We knock down the door as Aaron, kat and Corey look towards us. When they notice me carrying jake on my hip, covered in shattered glass they fire up. "get the first aid" I say and Corey sprints to the kitchen, sliding across the pristine floor. I sit jake down on the couch and pull his ripped no name hoodie off to get a better look at his back. I get a pair of tweezers and pluck out the bits of glass while bandaging up the cuts. I get the guys to change him into shorts and I see a particularly large gash on the back of his leg.

"well that explains the excessive leg bleeding" I say as the others hiss at the sight of the wound. I get a needle and thread and stich up the wound, putting cream and bandages on it. "thanks" jake croaks out. Colby flops beside him "explain" he says angrily and jake sighs. "I lied. I remember everything that happened last time. Especially her possessing me. It's horrible really, makes you incredibly queezy and makes it hard to breathe. It's like your drowning." we all hug him and he just weakly smiles.

"jake protection squad?" I ask as everyone giggles. "as long as I'm second leader" kai laughs out. Colby and dad grab a few blankets and we all get comfy on the couch.

(as far as I'm aware jake is 5'8? Definately smaller than jayden so that's why she was able to pick him up so easily)
