All four of them hung out at the quarry for a little before more serpents showed up. One particular didn't like Hailey at all. His name was Tallboy. "What is a Lodge doing here!" He yells. "Stand down Tallboy!" Someone says and it was Jughead. "She was invited so if you dont like it you can leave." Tallboy leaves the Quarry. Hailey sighs and mumbles "I knew this was a bad idea." She didn't think anyone heard but Toni did. "Hey girl! Can we talk for a sec?" Hailey nods and Toni drags her somewhere private.
"Hailey, I heard what you said back there. What did you mean by that?" Toni asked. "It wasn't meant to be bad but, of course people know I'm a Lodge. Everyone hates me even my own father." Hailey says sighing. Toni hugs her and says "I don't think everyone hates you. I know one person who definitely likes you." Hailey rolls her eyes "Toni, I know who your talking about. It's Fangs." Toni acted shocked when Hailey said that "How did you know?" She said sarcastically.
"The thing is Toni, I like him too it's just... all the relationships I've been in I've hurt the people who loved me and cared about me. I don't want to do that to him." Hailey said sighing. Toni gave Hailey a sympathetic look "Look you won't hurt him. Fangs is a tough cookie. I can already by the way he looks at you, he is falling in love with you." Hailey sighs "That's the thing, he shouldn't be falling in love with me. I'm a bad person."
"You are n-" Before Toni could finish Sweetpea and Fangs came over. "Whatcha guys talking about." Sweetpea said. I could tell he is a little drunk. "That's none of your guys concern." Hailey said and walks off. She decided to leave the Quarry without telling anyone. She gets dozens of calls but doesn't answer.
She was walking on the Northside and walked past the Pembrooke hearing her mom and dad fighting again. "You are the one who drove her out of the house! Now it's your responsibility to bring her back!" Hermione yelled. Hailey rolled her eyes she would never go back to that dreadful house.
