chapter 5

Raquel POV

I am so confused on what the hell was going on!  One minute we all chillin and vibing the next Regina, Leah and I in max room listening to a shootout! I'm not scared or anything because I've witness plenty of shootouts at the club but Regina and Leah are freaking tf out!

Everything got quiet all of sudden, but we knew better than to go peak out the room especially when we don't know the out come of the battle! " Man wtf is going on! I'm so confused and scared yo" Regina whispered to me. I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back to reassure everything is going to be okay. Leah went into the bathroom to get Regina some tissue to wipe her tears.

Maxx finally came in the room to let us know the coast is clear. Regina dived in Maxx arms crying heavy! Maxx hugged her tightly trying to calm her down. Leah and I both joined the hug for a brief moment before we made our way to check on everybody else. I froze dead in my foot steps when I saw tezz laying in the middle of the kitchen floor with blood all around him! He wasn't moving or anything.  I walked slowly towards him calling his name yet no response. Tears started to develop and fell from my eyes and I just dropped down next to him grabbing his hand. The only thing I could keep repeating to him was "Tezz I'm so sorry baby, just comeback to me". Maxx came and picked me up and told Leah to take us to the spot and they would mean us there.  On the way there Leah stopped at Zaxbys to get us something to eat and sure shit when we pulled up to the spot all the boys was there. My heart is crumbling because the main person car that I was looking for wasn't parked outside.

We walked up to the door,  Leah put the code in and we made our way to the back. We hear all the boys talking in the big room so we made our way there. "He bro we just made it, what tf happened back there? " Leah said to Maxx as she took a seat right next to him. " Idk I guess somebody is targeting us, but we trynna see what the streets know now.  We just waiting for the youngins to get back. " They continued their conversation but I tuned them out, I just wanted to know if tezz made it out alive or was I really sitting next to his dead body.

We heard somebody walking through the spot and we figured it was the youngins but when the door to the big room opened Leah and Regina smiled at me, as well as the boys except for Raj he was muggin like a motherfucka! " Why is everybody looking at me smiling and shit? " I grew annoyed of the awkward moment, the states was starting to piss me off. 

Tezz POV

Man how tf did I get shoot?  One minute I'm bussing niggas ass the next it's a bullet in my side! Had a nigga all passed out and shit! Damn I wonder if Raquel and the girls okay,  I know they probably shaken up. When I woke up the girls was gone and it was just my niggas. Of course they made sure I was on my way to my sister which is our private doctor while they wait for the clean up crew to mad Maxx house. I good the bullet didn't hit deep THANK GOD!!  A real nigga to sexy to die. I gotta head to the spot so I can figure out what the fuck is going on because an invasion wasn't on the agenda for today.

I pull to the spot and see everybody here including the girls because I see Leah car. I walk in the spot and headed straight for the big room because I knew thats where everybody was. As I walk through the door the first person I land my eyes on was Quel and just leaned against the wall smiling at her,  I can tell she was in deep thought by the look on her face and the fact that she has no idea I'm behind her let's me know she's zoned out. " Welcome back muscle head,  I see Ausha stitched you up nicely" Maxx said to me.  I chuckled and flick him off,  he just smirked. Raquel slowly turned around in her chair and when her eyes landed on me they got big but quickly was developing tears. Damn I ain't never had a chick shed a tear for me before, this ain't my first rodeo getting shot especially not in front of a female.  Yet this girl looking at me as if I have broken her heart with my absence. " You just gone stare at me ma or you gone show a nigga some love?" I asked her.  She slowly walked to me and I pulled her into a hug and held her tight,  I don't know why but I just feel like I don't wanna let her go. "Are you okay? I thought you was dead T? " She said to me looking as me with sad and hurt eyes.  I kissed her forehead and then her lips before hugging her again " I ain't going nowhere ma alright,  I'm right here I promise." As I'm consoling Quel I peep the same nigga that was all up in her face muggin us. I let his mug slide the first time when I first walked in but now I'm getting annoyed! " Nigga something you wanna get off your chest? " I pressed him.  He just looked at me like I had three heads before he started laughing " Naw B I feeling good"  He said as he waved me off.  Maxx made eye contact with me and shook his head no so I just let the slick comment go. Raquel sat back down and I sat beside her as the youngins come in.

Maxx POV

"Bossman, we got news for ya" One of the little niggas said to me. I nod my head as a signal for him to continue. " Word on the street is Pablo sent his boys at you on some war shit for who runs East and southside " The youngins continues to tell me.  Everybody knows the east and South side is my grounds and Pablo been wanting my shit for the longest.  See Pablo runs the West and North side and has been trying to get me to work under him so he can steal all my connections and run the whole city! I told that nigga fuck him and he's been coming for my shit ever since. Everybody know the east and South pull more weight than the West and North and that's really why he want my shit so bad. That shit DEAD!
