Chapter 3

Snow is in the Media 

Its 5am and everybody is sleep but Raquel, she had way too much on her mind to even catch a nap. She was on Max balcony looking at the busy city , she just wanted to create a better life for her sister. Raquel heard the door opened and quickly wiped her tears before she turned around to see who was out there with her. "You okay , why you up so early ?" Tezz looked at her with a questionable look because he could've sworn everybody was sleeping, he saw the hurt in her eyes and soften his face. Raquel didn't speak , she just looked down at her feet and played with her nails. "Come here ma, what's wrong? Why the long face?" Raquel couldn't control it anymore she just broke down is Tezz arms.For the first time in a long time Raquel felt safe to alone with another man. Tezz let her cry it out for the next ten minutes until she stopped. "So you gone tell me what's wrong , why your pretty ass out here crying like you want your mama or something?" Raquel rolled her eyes at the mention of her mother but clears her throat to speak. "I've been stressed a lot lately , and it's been a long time since anybody ever asked me what was wrong that's all" Tezz wasn't buying it , he knew it was deeper than that.He gave her a questionable look but he sparked up his blunt and spoke "Well now that you have somebody that cares too know mind telling me , I'm a great listener I'll even share the blunt if it makes you feel better." Raquel started giggling at the flashback she just had when Regina and her use to always hate niggas that smoke. Everytime they asked the men why they smoked the response was always "It's my stress Reliever" she shook her head before she took a seat next to Tezz. "Well right now it's my mother, my sister and I living in a small two bedroom apartment. My mother hates me and the grounds I walked on , I'm a high school senior by day and a stripper by night so I can make enough money to get me and sister Tf up out of there and leave that miserable drunk to be by herself.I have more than enough to go get us a home and for me and her to get a new car but it's a small part of me hoping my mother would change so i would be able to bring her with us but the more I see her , the more she hates me. I don't know I guess I just feel alone at times, Like I'm in this by myself." Tezz was amazed by everything she said and lowkey wanted to hear details behind it but he didn't want to push it.He passed the blunt to Raquel hoping that would help her calm down. Raquel looked at the blunt with a questionable look, but then finally caved in and grabbed the blunt and started smoking her stress away.They smoked in silence until the blunt was gone, Tezz looked at her and decided to say something "I just wanna say I think you a bomb ass female for everything you doing. Most bitches would've just felt sorry for themselves and would do nothing but chase a rich nigga down hoping he could take her out the hood. You making a way for you and your sister and that I can fuck with." she looked at him "You don't think I'm dumb or a hoe for being a stripper? Cause everybody else think so." Tezz stood up and reached for Raquel's hand to help her stand up and walked her over to the balcony. "You see this , these people are rushing to make money to provide for their love ones.Money that takes them two weeks to receive only takes you a couple hours a night times 3 to make. My point is no your not a hoe or stupid, you just out here like everybody else trynna make shit happen for yourself I ain't mad at you as long a you being smart about yours. And as far as the living situation , get out before it's too late , take it from me broken drunks don't get better they get worse." Raquel knew Tezz was right , her mother has gotten worse and she didn't want Trinity going through that. Tezz pulled Raquel in front of him grabbed her chin and made her look at him " Look I know we just met each other, but I'm in your corner from here on out . Anything you need I'm nothing but a call away alright , right now you need to take you and your sister out the hood and now that you have the funds to do so make it happen for you and her." Raquel stared at Tezz for a moment because she couldn't understand why a man who barely even know her want to see her make it so bad. "I hear you" Tezz looked down at Raquel and studied her beauty once more, he could tell she was a good girl stuck in a rough position and that once made him want her more and also help her the best way her could that she would allow. He Pecked her lips a few times before he grabbed her hand and they both got all boo'd up on couch out on the balcony and Raquel fell fast asleep.

Regina and Raquel pulled up to her house where they heard a lot of screaming and yelling.Raquel quickly pulled out her key and ran to the door to open it , she could not believe what she was seeing. "You stupid bitch , where's your sisters money I know you know" Mrs.Lynn had trinity choked out on the wall gasping for air , this whole scenery sent Raquel into rage. She marched over there and punched her mother square in her jaw and Mrs.Lynn instantly dropped trinity to hold her face as she fell to the ground. "Regina take my sister in the room, trinity pack your shit we leaving!" Raquel had enough of her mother's shit she walked over to her mother and stared at her cold heartedly " Bitch you would see a penny from me on your deathbed, Fuck you!" Raquel walked over to her mother's liquor bottle and pours the whole bottle of henny on her head before going to her room to pack all her shit.

Raquel checked her and her sister into a hotel until she could figure the rest out. After checking in and bringing their stuff in , Regina took them to the dealership so Raquel could go buy a car. After the car shopping Regina and Raquel parted ways , Raquel took trinity out to eat and took her to do a little shopping before she dropped her back off at the hotel so she could head into work.

Raquel pulled up to the club wearing a whole attitude on her face , she hated her job. She was cool with some people but overall she hated the people at her job as well.Raquel walked to he back and put her stuff in her locker before she changed into her outfit to go on stage, she was after Snow a white girl with a fat ass.After snow got off stage she ran and gave Raquel a hug , Snow was Raquel bestfriend in the strip club they always have each other back. " we'll catch up after my set alright" snow nod her head and smacked her ass before she took herself on the floor. " Now the one we all been waiting for , all the big ballers report to the stage and make it rain for my girl ICEE!" Raquel took a shot looked at herself in the mirror and made her way to the stage. She was doing her thing on stage , bouncing, flipping , climbing the pool doing tricks in the air , twerking all the above . Men was throwing money left and right , bills lower that a twenty they stuffed in her bra and waist band. As the Dj switched her song from a fast song to a slow song she spotted Tezz on the side watching her with a grin on his face. She didn't know why , but that made her feel so sexy and lets just say she rocked the fuck out that beat making everything nigga in the club dick stand up.

After Raquel got off stage she went and changed into her floor gear , she took the bags of money from the bouncers and stuffed them into her locker before she made her way to the floor. She found snow and was making her way over to her until she felt hands snake around her waist, she quickly turned around with a mug on her face until she realized it was just Tezz and she relaxed. "What are you doing here?" Tezz flashed her a smile " My cousin birthday is today and he kept raving about some stripper named ice that we had to see, and now I see why" Raquel blushed , Tezz made her so nervous and shy for some odd reason, she never felt this way around no man but she liked the feeling.

Snow spotted Tezz from across the room and of course like any stripper who sees a baller , she made her way over to him. "Hey daddy , want a dance?" Raquel looked at Snow upside her head because she just know this girl saw her talking to him.Snow started shaking her ass in front of him grabbing his attention which made Raquel walk off kinda pissed.She knows Tezz not her man but it still bothered her that he directed his attention towards Snow.Raquel shift was up , she already gave Q his cut for tonight and was ready to head out the door .As she was saying her goodbyes she notice Tezz and Snow leaving out the door and she knew that meant they was fixing to have a nightcap , she rolled her eyes and proceeded to her car.When Raquel got back to the room she realized that Trinity was up " What you doing up girly" Trinity loved waiting up for her sister because she wants to know she made it in safe before she can really sleep. "I just wanna make sure you got in safe , how was work?" Raquel dumped her money on the bed and looked back at Trinity with a smile "How do you think it went." Trinity laughed and playfully rolled her eyes. "Aye can you count this while i go was this club off me?" as she knew Trinity jumped off the bed and ran to the money , she laughed and shook her head and headed to the bathroom.Raquel made $6,000 that night , she was satisfied. She always gives her sister a band and puts up the rest. They put all the money away and went to sleep.
