Taehyung chomps on his lower lip, wondering if this was such a good idea after all.
He had gone home to shower, change and head back out to meet Jimin at a local park.
The dyed haired boy wasn't sure why he messaged Jimin. Out of all the people he could've asked out, he chose him...why?
Taehyung wasn't particularly sure himself but he couldn't back out now.
While waiting, he leans back against the warm bench he was sat on, basking in the sunlight that was currently blazing down on him.
His eyes leisurely close over, a small sigh parting from his uniquely shaped lips.
Right in that moment, he allowed himself to momentarily show his true emotions.
His sad, weak, vulnerable side.
Despite what Taehyung is doing, he couldn't help but think that Jungkook might never experience the hurt he caused the younger.
Every waking second was excruciating to Taehyung, even if he didn't display it.
It was hard, Jungkook was his first ever love, someone he trusted and cared for most.
"I hate you."
That hurt Taehyung most.
Deciding to divert his dreary thoughts, Taehyung opens his orbs once again, taking in the over look view of the park from where he sat.
He could see a small lake just far off into the distance where some dogs with their owners were playing. Close by it, was a huge playground that had lots of children climbing and running around.
It was almost bittersweet, making Taehyung wish he could go back in time to a much simpler life.
"Hey," a voice spoke lowly from behind.
Taehyung knew that sound, he peers back to meet with Jimin's face.
The older wasn't smiling nor frowning, instead he had a rather strange expression on his face like he's worried.
Without a word being said, Jimin walks round the bench and takes a seat beside the younger.
A brief calmness settles over the boys as they sit quietly.
Jimin was twirling his thumbs, trying to figure out when it would be best to give Taehyung a proper apology.
"Do you ever think what you're doing is wrong?" The purple haired male's voice came out a few octaves lower that usual. His stare was still trained on the small children playing, happily laughing.
The older whips his head up and to the side to openly gawk at Taehyung's side profile, a look of minor confusion taking over.
"What do you mean?" The platinum headed teen questions, equally at a flat tone.
One corner of Taehyung's lips curve, his eyes veer to instead goggle at the ground. 'Why am I even attempting to open up to him?'
It was peculiar to the younger, yet he doesn't stop there.
Tearing his pupils away from the concrete surface, he stares into Jimin's orbs like he can see his soul, his innermost thoughts and feelings.
It was enough to leave a strong mark on older as his heart aggressively hammers in his chest, a sudden wave of heat escaping throughout his body. He didn't back away from the younger's intense gaze.
Jimin continued to look back, waiting for whatever it was that Taehyung would confess to.
"...I wonder if there really is a good person in you, Jimin."
