It was 12:30 AM on February 28.

"NEVER!" the woman exclaimed, clutching her baby tightly while covering his eyes.

"Miss you're gonna have to put the baby down, or we'll fire."

"Honey cmon-" said the woman's husband, trying to comfort her. "It'll only be for a week-"

"WEEK, MY ASS." she shouted, pushing him away.

"You have five seconds. Hand over the baby, or we'll fire."

The woman had tears in her eyes.

Henry put the crying baby down with shaky hands.

His lower lip trembled, eyes flooding.

The cops came over and dragged her corpse away, rolling their caution tape around their house.

Henry cursed at the calm police.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARDS! AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO FIGHT FOR WHAT'S RIGHT?"

"We did, sir."

"NO YOU FUCKING DIDN'T! LEAVE MY HOUSE NOW!"

The officers nodded without any sign of sympathy on their faces, taking the dead body away with them.

Henry put his crying baby to bed.
