Rachel POV:

I hummed a little tune to myself as I was reading a new book that Daddy got me from his last trip.

"What are you reading there Dear?" I smiled as I heard my GreatGrandma speaking.

"'The Secret Garden'. Daddy brought me this." I said excitedly.

Every weekend, When Mommy is taking care of the garden and Matthew is having his noon nap, I'm lying on the old carpet in the living room while my GreatGrandma is sitting on the couch and together we're hanging out and have fun.

Usually it involves my GreatGrandma knitting or napping as well (Not that I mind) while I'm reading a book that I got from the library or one that my parents brought me.

But today... was different.

Today my GreatGrandma was also reading a book.

I wouldn't mind that if it wasn't for the book getting me so curious.

There are times when GreatGrandma is asking me to go and get her something from her room and I do it.

And each time I see that book! Lying under my GreatGrandma's pillows.

That book is so weird! It looks so old and it was in some kind of language that I didn't understand and never seen before.

And that got me even more curious!

Maybe now is my chance to ask GreatGrandma what is that.

"What are you reading GreatGrandma?" I asked in curiousity.

She chuckled a little as she looked at the book.

"It's called 'The Travel Tome', It's an ancient book that talks about Gorm." She told me.

"Gorm? What's Gorm?" I asked, getting even more curious.

"Gorm is the island of nature, Dear. And the people who live in there are called Gormities." She explained.

Now I was even MORE curious if that was possible.

"Oh GreatGrandma! Please tell me more about it!" I begged as I jumped up and down.

GreatGrandma chuckled.

"Very well..." I smiled widely and sat down while GreatGrandma was openning the Tome in the first page.

"It all started 292 years ago, When Gorm had peace between the five tribes: Earth, Air, Water, Forest and Fire." My thoughts started to flow to a beautiful island...

The sky were blue and pure... The ocean around the island was calm and yet fierced... and all of the ground was covered with trees, flowers and bushes...

"But one day the fire tribe rose up... Their leader, Magor, wanted to take control over Gorm and there was a big chance that he might had succeeded..." GreatGrandma said in a thrill voice which made me a little scared.

"Then rose up four of the bravest and strongest warriors from each tribe and together they fought and defeated Magor." I slowly rose up and made my way towards GreatGrandma.

"Magor might had lost the fight against Gorm once but he, like the fire, is always angry and tries to rise more. He will not give up easily. And so from this day on, as long as Gorm stands, four of the bravest and strongest warriors from each tribe will keep rising up against him and defeat him so Gorm will stay safe." I breathed in awe as I saw the picture of four, shadowy figures who stood with the sun standing behind them.

Suddenly the sun seemed to shine stronger and stronger and stronger...

Until the whole room became white and bright which made me gasp and back away.

"What's wrong Dear?" GreatGrandma asked in fear.

"Didn't you see it, GreatGrandma?! The sun! It shone so bright!" I told her excitedly.

GreatGrandma slowly closed the book, not taking her eyes off of me as she slowly asked.

"You saw light?" I nodded rapidly.

Dad walked in.

"What's going on?" He asked.

He saw GreatGrandma's shock expression and frowned.

"Rachel Kirky Dayz..." Dad said in a warning tone.

"Dad I..." I tried to explain myself.

"She didn't do anything wrong Carlos, I'm just really tired." GreatGrandma jumped in.

She held out the Tome for me.

"Would you mind take my book with you, Dear? You can have it for now." She told me with a smile.

I slowly and unsurely took it from her.

"Come on Rachel, Let GreatGrandma have some rest." Dad told me as I picked up my book and he took me out.

No One POV:

All GreatGrandma was able to think about was what her Great-grandaughter said...

Did she really see the light? Did Il Sommo Luminescente really choose her beloved Rachel? Did he also choose Little Matthew?

In Matt's Room:

"Matt! Matty! Look! GreatGrandma gave me her book! Look at the pictures!" Rachel squealed excitedly and showed him the Gorm Lords' picture.

The light shone again and this time Matt was giggling as well.

"Pretty light!" He squealed and clapped his hands, making Rachel gasp.

"You saw it too?"

Back to GreatGrandma:

When her friend showed his brother, her and their friend the book they saw it too.

That's when they were chosen.

She and her husband had the hope that their daughter Marina will see it too...

But she left to Spain before they had the chance.

When her Grandson, Carlos, came back to Vencher's Falls, her husband has already passed away but she hoped her grandson will see the light...

He never did.

When her great-grandchildren were born she already gave up completely...

And here... today... when she didn't expect it at all... it's her great-grandaughter who sees it!

But it's MAGOR we're talking about and if he's really coming back will they be safe? Will she live long enough to give them the instruction they need?

Something in her heart warmed a little, making her smile softly.

Rachel will know... she'll help her know, and Matt if she will live to see him grow long enough.

"We'll keep them safe together Toby..." She murmured, looking up to the sky.

"Alive and dead..." And with that she started to cough a little.

Who was she talking to?

Her husband of course!

For she, is Jessica Tripp.

A.K.A The Gorm Lady of the air.
