It was now bedtime, and I was glad to be back to my own self.
Catman was lying down on the couch and he looked really tired.
So, I rubbed his head and he began to purr.
"Ahhh..that feels good...".
Then, the next morning, I went out exploring.
I found the dungeon after the strange the red smoke appeared.
There was the Ankh Warrior.
I ran to him and put my hand on his chest to check for a heartbeat.
Good, he's still breathing.
Ankh Warrior could hear a soft, gentle voice standing before him.
"H-hhhello"?
He stuttered.
I felt tears of joy flowing down my cheek.
"Vinnie"! "You're okay"!
I broke the chains to free him.
"Who are you and how did you find me"?
I told him everything.
"Please, leave be...I....no one needs me".
I let out a few sobs and hugged him.
"Don't say that, everyone hasn't seen you in years".
The Ankh Warrior moved his joints around a little bit.
He smiled for the first time in a long time.
I leaned forward and kissed him on the lips.
He was smiling as he pulled me up closer to him.
