Levi? Are you sure this is the place? It seems so... Abandoned."

Hanji observed.

"I'm positive."

"Only fools are positive." Hanji said.

"I'm sure this is the place. It's exactly where it said it was in the letter." Levi reassured her.

"So you brought the money?" She questioned.

"Are you out of your fucking mind? I am just going to kill the idiots who thought kidnapping her was a good idea." He said, getting off his horse, same with Hanji.

"Levi! If I've told you once, I've told you 100 times, don't go killing people that kidnap your girlfriend!"

"What? You haven't once said that to me."

"Yeah but! You didn't deny the fact that she's your girlfriend! I knew you guys were together!"

"Whatever. Let's just go in." Levi walked to the door. Hanji slowly opened the door, revealing a dark cabin.

"Hello?!" Hanji called.

"I see you've come." A man said from the shadows.

"Yeah, now can we have our friend back? We are in a hurry. We have to get back before Erwin realizes we're gone." Hanji said.

"Do you have the money?"

"Define "have"." Hanji said.

"This isn't a laughing matter, if you do not have the money, this girl." He said pulling a unconscious from the shadows, her body bloody and bruised. Levi clenched his fist, his knuckles whitening.

"Hahahaha!!" Hanji burst into laughter.

"What is so funny?" Claren asked, annoyed and confused.

"Well, haha, its just, haha oh my god. You thought it was a good idea to kidnap her? Haha you pretty much signed up for your death. You see, Petra here," She said pointing to the sleeping girl. "Is somewhat, precious to Levi! So by taking her, and obviously hurting her, which I'm surprised you had the guts to do in the first place, you've hit the soft spot that Levi has for her. Which will result in your ass getting kicked, and possibly yourself killed."

"What are you talking about girl?" Claren asked, confused.

"Here, let me explain so you can understand: Levi," She pointed to Levi. "Kill," She used her finger as an imaginary knife and slid it across her throat. "You," She pointed to Claren. "For," She held up four fingers. "Hurting Petra." She pointed at Petra.

"Do you take me as some sort of idiot?" Claren asked.

She then said, in a cowboy accent, "Well, apparently!"

"Oh really?" He grabbed Petra's hair and pulled her up, jolting her awake. Then he pulled a knife out. "You think about taking even a step towards me, I'll slit her throat."

"Hanji!" Petra called. "Don't!"

"Petra! I'm sorry but I have to do something!" Hanji said.

"Just get Levi or something!"

"But Levi is-" She turned to see that Levi wasn't where he was originally standing. She heard a thud and turned around. Levi had a knife in one hand and was supporting Petra with the other.

"Levi..." Petra said weakly before passing out.

"You should have asked me before running off like that Rivaille! You could've gotten yourself killed." Erwin scolded.

"But I didn't." Levi stated.

"It's okay to care for a soldier and their safety, but you should've asked me before you went!"

"I got her back. That's all that matters to me right now." And with that, he left.

Petra's wounds were taking some time to heal, but after about 3 weeks, she was good as new.

"Hey Levi?" She asked.

"Yes?" He looked at her.

"I was wondering something the other day. Why didn't you ask Erwin before leaving to go get me? Why did you just go?"

"Because I care about you, and I don't need anyone's approval to go and save someone I care about."

"Oh really?" He nodded. "What's my favorite color?"

"What kind of question is that?" He asked.

"If you cared about me, you'd know."

"Blue."

"Yes." She clapped her hands together.

"Now my turn." He looked at her. "What's my favorite color?"

"Well I think it's a honey colored orange."

"How do you know that?"

"It's the color of my eyes." She answered before leaving to go make coffee.
