A HAPPY but not with you ENDING
"Ellah, ikaw na" the manager told me, hudyat na turn ko na.
As I walk towards the stage, my legs are trembling parang gusto ko ng mag back-out
I look at the people's reaction, expectant.
Sa paglalayag ng aking mga mata, nandito sya, nandito ang taong aalayan ko ng kanta.
Nagsimula na ang banda saking likuran, I sigh. Hoping he'll notice.
"Cold eyes, sleep tight, this wonderful delusion be delight" I start singin with a low pitch, feeling the every lyrics of my own composed song.
"Brown eyes, please sleep tight, those fantasy will just end tonight"
Yes, I'll end it. Surely tired of wanting what's unreachable.
"I wanna hold your hand, intertwine..." I sang the chorus looking at him intently. Like I just throw him some daggers of pain.
"I wanna feel your skin on mine"
Yes, I badly do, but fate is my biggest enemy.
"I really like the gaze in your eyes, but this lucid dream of mine, will just end tonight" Yes Keo, I'm ending it.
At natapos ang kanta ng puno ng hiyawan, I genuinely smile to the crowd.
"Galing mo Ellah!" Geo, my bestfriend.
"Naman!" At napuno ng tawanan at mga komento nila ang usapan dahil nakisali narin ang ilang staff.
"Geo, can you drive me home?" I ask him since I didn't bring my car.
"Sure Ellah" sabay kindat pa nito at natawa na lamang ako.
Nagliligpit nako ng biglang may humawak saking braso na syang ikinagulat ko
"K-keo?"
"Let's talk Ellah" did he realize it?
"I love you Ellah, I've been inlove with you, but I can't get the chance because you are always being surrounded by your friends, Ellah, can I court you?"
My mouth are left wide open because of his confession, is he s-serious?
"I love You Ellah, to the stars and beneath the earth" his words lingered in my thoughts, "I love you too Keo" and he kiss my lips with so much passion.
It's been 7 years, "Morning Hon" I greeted him and I kiss him in his cheeks.
"Morning Keo! Morning Kia!" I greeted my two little twins
"Daddy Geo! Mommy Ellah, we need to go!" Hudyat na oras na ng skwela.
"So, we're alone again" he evilishly chuckled.
"So what Geo?" At napuno ng tawanan st lambingan.

Everyone deserves a happy ending, but sometimes not with the one we always want to be with. But with someone we less expect.
