She leads us into a guest bedroom. Before we even get in the room she goes off. "Y'all have lost y'all damn mind. How are y'all gone raise a kid when y'all are kids y'all selves."

My aunt Tia closes the door. My mother was yelling at both of us but mainly looking at Khalil which pissed me off. I was just as guilty as him.

I try to speak but Khalil cuts me off. "Ma'am I don't know what you have against me but I'm not running away from my responsibilities. I'm gonna be in this baby life whether you like it or not."

Chilllleeee if looks could kill, Khalil would be dead. "I know your type. I had a child with one."

"Well he ain't me." Khalil shoots back starting to get mad.

"Nigga cut me the bullshi-."

"Tonya Marie Baker." My ain't yells. My mom looks at her all innocent and shit.

"Cut then the slack. You act like you didn't make the same mistake." My aunt explains. She wasn't lying. My mama had me at 16 so technically I'm doing better than her.

"I know Tia. And the fact that I already made that mistake shows that my daughter should have known better." She says looking at me with scold.

"But girl they are kids. For Christ's sake! Let them breathe a little." My mom looks at us and just walks out of the room.

Aunt Tia looks at us and asks if we were alright. We nod our heads, lying. "It's okay y'all the only thing you guys can do is be the best parents to that child." She looks at Khalil. "And Khalil?" She says getting his attention.

"Ma'am?"

"Keep doing what your doing. It's Better than what her dad did." She says pointing to me. He nods his head and thanks her. My aunt walks out.

When my aunt leaves all of our stress shows on our face as we exhale a deep sigh of relief. I slide down the wall looking helpless while Khalil holds the bridge of his nose closing his eyes.

He walks up on me and gets me up. "Get up. We ain't we gotta go back out there." I get up and follow him out.

Once we leave we say goodbye to my family but my mama was nowhere in sight. My aunt approaches me and hugs me. "Gone and go baby. Your mama is having a 'moment' right now."

"I'm having a moment too but she obviously doesn't give a fuck." I give Aunt Tia and leave.

We ride back in silence. Khalil drove because my head was hurting bad.

I drop him off and he asked me to come in and relax my nerves for a bit. I agree and go in, seeing Vic and Alex laying up on each other watching s movie.

When Vic sees me she gets excited. "Sooooo how did it go." She asked all peppy. She sees my expression and her smile drop. She looks at Khalil for answer.

"Aye London gone and go upstairs." I don't put up a fight. I was tired and didn't feel like explaining anything right now.

I go down the hallway heading to Khalil's room and I bump into Jahari eating and walking.

"Oh shit." He says bumping into me making my dizziness more severe. He looks at me seeing something was wrong. "Aye you good?" He asked

I nod my head slowly since it was still throbbing and finish walking to Khalil's room. I lay out on the bed not even finding enough strength to get on the covers.

I just wanted to wake up from this nightmare. My mom. Khalil. This baby. Everyone

Khalil
I spent about 30 minutes explaining to Vic and the boys about what happened and they were pissed.

"Aight Imma go check up on London." I announce leaving out the room.

When I get there she was knocked out with her clothes fully on not even under any cover. I chuckle at her baby ass snoring.

I get my blanket and place it over her while I climb in the bed and turn on the tv.

As quiet as I was, I don't know how she heard me but she woke up and started rubbing her eyes. He starts looking around like she doesn't know where she is.

"How long was I sleep?" She says sitting up. I act like I'm thinking. "Ummm about a good half hour."

She mumbles something under her breath and grabs her phone looking at the time. "Oh shit I gotta go. Where the hell are my house keys?" She asked going through her purse.

I shrug my shoulders. She slaps her head. "I left them at my mama house."

"You know you could just stay here. You ain't no stranger." I laugh.

She shakes her head. "You not my man. I don't have the privilege to stay with you." She grabs her phone obviously making a phone call.
