"Ahhhhhhhhhh. Get this baby out." I yell crying out for Khalil. Boy or girl- this baby would not come out. I was sweating and panting hard.
"Sis it's gonna be okay." I shake my head closing my eyes. "The first baby is always the hardest." Kendall says wiping my head with a wet towel.
"I need K-Khalil." I say stammering. "Where's Khalil-." Vic cut me off.
"He's still recovering. He can't be here right now. You can do it. Cmon." It's feel so much harder without Khalil here. I know he's gonna throw a fit knowing he missed the birth.
"Okay Ms. Baker. Your almost there. Give me one more push. I can see the baby. " The doctor says calmly.
I push as hard as I can, practically about to pass out. "He's here." The doctor says grabbing the baby. The nurses rush and clean it.
"Awww sis, Khalil was right. We got a little nigga here." Kendall says gushing over the baby.
I laugh. I wanted a girl more than anything but I'll be grateful for whatever I have as long as it's healthy.
"Girl I know you just birthed this baby, but even being 5 minutes old he has Khalil written all over him." Vic says smiling.
"Would you like to hold the baby Miss?" The nurse asked.
I nod my head and the lady places the baby in my arms. For him to be premature like the doctors said he was very heavy. "Hey my little baby." I say gushing at him grabbing my fingers.
The nurse smiles at me. "Have you chosen a name?" She asked. I look at the now sleeping baby. Khalil and I had talked about it but with everything going on it slipped me mind.
I turn my attention back to the nurse. "Yeah his name is King. King Amir Rayes." The lady lights up. "Cute name." She states walking out. As soon as she leaves Kendall and Victoria start hovering over me and my baby.
"Damn y'all can I breathe?" I say sitting up more. They both ignore me. "This isn't about you. It about my little whittle nephew here." Kendall says tickling the sleeping baby.
"Oh my gosh I think I'm about to cry. This is like those sad romance stories. "Vic says while fanning her fake tears.
"Girl stop the waterworks."
