Imagine yourself in a world with heroes, got it okay then now I want you to forget it. Why? because the government practically told you no. That is what happened to me, the name is Crow I too wanted to become a hero but I wasn't eligible. I've stopped liking hero's since when I was a kid, 11 years ago an accident happened.
FLASHBACK
I was pretty small back then, in the hospital with my family, we were going to see someone that day. My mother was pregnant and had just gave birth, we were all excited to see the newest member of our family. My uncle had forgotten something in his car and went to go get it, when he arrived downstairs he saw a tall man. "What is he doing" he said, the man soon yelled out " EVERY ONE IN THIS BUILDING IS NOW CONSIDERED MY HOSTAGE!" My uncle came back and told us what was happening, everyone in the room got frightened. Some people downstairs had called the police, they arrived but they too had no Wright's to attack a super villain especially in these conditions. They just stood their buying time for a "Hero" to come.
When the "Hero" came The villain had already killed a few civilians that's were bugging him. The villain had a fire ability and used it to his advantage to escape, but at the same time burning up the hospital and 2/3 of the people inside. I myself was lucky to get out alive, but my family didn't get too lucky.
"Villians just want to see the world burn"
"Her burned my world, my everything"
All this happened because of a stupid law. The government chose the strongest to be "Heroes" when they were old enough, they would personally train them. I myself was considered a Weakling. The law also says that you have to be a "Hero" to battle or to do "Heroic" acts. You could get in big trouble for breaking the law, yes this law is very crapy. When I was saved I saw a civilian try to help but was taken down by the police. They yelled at him saying "STAY PUT YOU DON'T HAVE WRIGHT'S TO HELP".
Then and there I gave up on society, I told myself "how more fucked up can this get".
That's when I noticed my family was still up their, the biggest problem was only sending 1 hero to a big building and he was supposed to do what? save thousands of lives. He didn't succeed, 573 people died in that fire 122 died when the building collapsed. My family were part of those in the death count. After the incident I was told to either move in with my cousin and his wife or be escorted to an adoption center. I chose my cousin, he is pretty nice but yet I missed my family, and missed the brother I never got to meet.
11 years later
I've grown more mature, and the law hasn't changed. I don't dislike "Hero's" I just don't like that law. Oh and guess what right at this moment my school is under is under attack, yeah normal Friday morning...
