Sierra logged onto her laptop.  It was the middle of the night.  3:58 to be exact.  A little late to be updating her status, but she needed the distraction.  Her blog days were over.  Total Drama was now just a distant memory, throbbing in the back of her mind.

What was her status you might ask?

Well, it tended to vary between "in a relationship" to "it's complicated."  Tonight, however, it was changed from "it's complicated" to "single pringle."

It just happened; I swear I don't know.

"Goodmorning, Muskoka!  It's your daily news broadcaster, Bridgette Adler, and you're watching Life in Muskoka."

There was a muffling behind the camera and a short sponsored advertisement before the broadcast continued.

"We've just received some breaking news.  Cody Andrerson was-

Wait, are you serious?  Cody is dead?" Bridgette went wide eyed and struggled to read the rest of the report.

"Cody Anderson was found dead along the shoreline this morning with what looks to be multiple puncture wounds.  Authorities have yet to confirm whether this is an accident or a murder.  Stay tuned for updates." Bridgette finished her statement before getting up and storming off the set, completely unable to continue working today.  She knew Cody.  Cody was her friend.  Cody was everyone's friend.

Bridgette's phone was having a seizure from the massive incoming of texts, calls, and social media updates regarding Cody's unexpected death. Everyone could hardly believe it.

There was one thought that crossed through each and every one of our minds that morning:

"How was Sierra going to react?"
