Betty’s POV
The last day before the summer. We sit at our desks, waiting for the bell to ring. The bell rings, we jump out of our seats, grab our stuff and go to our lockers. When I was at my locker I was thinking of everything that we could do this summer. “B, are you listening to me?” V asks me. “Sorry, no.” I say as she gets all of her books out of her locker. “I was thinking, maybe we could go to my beach house and stay there with a couple of friends?” I ask. “Sure” I hear V say. When I heard her say that I was so excited. “I will call Archie and he can ask some of his friends to come.” V says. “I will call Cheryl and tell her to invite Polly and Josie.” I say. “Ok, meet me at Archie’s house.” She says. “Bye.” I say leaving the building and waving. “Bye.” She says back getting the rest of her things and leaving. I went home and my brothers were sitting on the couch. “How was school?” Chic asks. “Fine.” I say giving them a sarcastic smile. I jump onto the couch and steal their chips. “Hey!” Jordan yells as he tries to snatch the chips back from me. “You can’t get me if I go up to my room and lock my door!” I yell running up the stairs. I get up to my room and lock the door. I call Cheryl. “Hey Betty, what’s up?” she says. “V and I are going to the beach house for a couple of weeks, maybe you could come and invite Polly and Josie?” I ask. “Yeah, sure.” she says. “Betty I want my chips!” Chic and Jordan both yell at me through the door. “Bye Cher, have to deal with annoying brothers. We both laugh at that. “Bye.” she says. I unlock the door and throw the chips at them. “You ate half of them!” Jordan yells. “I’m home!” I hear mom say from downstairs. “Ok!” We all say.
