The Phantom night

Chapter 1 : Introduction

Part 1 : 

"And the dog suddenly disappeared !" Added Joy and Edna, they were very horrified to express this incident to his friends. But suddenly, "Hey Edna, The time's up, get up ! Or you will be late to school" Her mother called and so she woke up, "I missed the Climax." She thought. "Hey, You woke up ! That's really great ! You must be knowing that this is the first day of your summer holidays, so you must learn getting up early because you are going to 8th grade.", Mom said gladly. 

Edna couldn't wait to wake her brother up and tell him about her dream. She went to his room, saw him sleeping, woke him up gently saying that mom called him to wake up. So he had to get up. She told "Well, Do you know, I had an awesome dream today morning ? You must hear it." Joy yawned and said "Okay, let me get myself ready." She waited for Five minutes and then her brother comes back and tells "Edna, Don't you have any other works instead of creating stupid stories and scaring me all the time ?, I know mom hasn't called me." She got a bit upset, but she tells disappointedly "This time, I had a good dream...". 

He asked "Hmmm, That isn't possible that I saved you in your dream. What's the name of that place again ?" She looked and grinned and told "You don't believe ? But it happened. And the name of the place is Costriya City, Did you hear it anytime ? It exists in the real world and it came in my dream. Also It's very famous" He looked questioningly and said "Never heard of it before, Did you create it in your dream ?" She looked quite angry and told to him "My brother, you are not listening to me and you aren't updated with the news, I don't understand.....,Wait how did you know !?!" 

Suddenly A voice spoke "Come kids, it's breakfast time. It's your favorite dish. Come fast before it gets finished by your dad. "Don't worry I am reading newspaper, There is no need to rush." Said their Dad. They identified it was mom and dad voices, Joy rushed down before Edna would ask just another question about that dream. Seeing Joy run, this made Edna follow him and she rushed at the dining table. Edna wouldn't dare to ask it again because they were sitting right in front of their parents. "Well, he escaped." She thought angrily. So they sat. Mom's voice was heard saying "Voila! Here comes the pasta!" The children told unwillingly "Mom, We are bored to eat Pasta all the time. Isn't there anything special at the table" Mom said "Well, this is special, made differently this time and I hope you both like it. Jackie, Do you want to taste this pasta ?" Dad told merrily "Ha, Why won't I Dear, Of course!" Edna was reading the newspaper with dad and said "There isn't any special news, dad. What are you reading ?" Dad replied "There is always something special and hidden news in the newspaper, dear. Then something caught her attention, there was a headline, which was saying that "Two kids and a dog mysteriously disappeared into a forest and never returned in Costriya city". She asked Dad, what it was about. He read the article and resisted to say her. So he said "All common these days, so frauds, so people one by one fall into traps. She believed that dad wasn't lying so she didn't peak into the article. 

Part 2 : 

After a few minutes, They both said that they completed their breakfasts. "You have both barely ate anything, You'll feel hungry later." Mom said. They said that they will directly eat lunch. "You'll regret your decision" Dad Asked. "Not at all, Dad" Said the children.

Joy went to his room which was upstairs and started playing Piano. Edna took Joy's phone and started seeing Facebook posts. Mom suddenly caught her scrolling through Facebook and said "I think I have told you a hundred times not to use Facebook. It's very dangerous. Why don't you understand ?" She replied "Mommy, It's not mine, it's my brother's. Also, I think Facebook isn't dangerous at all." Mom said angrily "I told him not to use Facebook and I thought he stopped using it, I'll talk to him. You must learn good qualities from him, not the bad ones, understand ?" Then she got an idea and told "Mom, I understand and I will promise that I will only use it today and never again". Mom got happy that her daughter has promised that and accepted it. Something caught her attention. She saw a message which was sent by an unknown person "The dog has disappeared. Be careful because you might too".

She immediately deleted the message and thought to herself "This is too much, maybe I should start the investigation with the help of my brother without saying to her parents, if I say about this to my parents, they'll think I'm playing a prank". She went to her brothers room, shivering, horrified. When he saw her, he thought she was ill. But when Edna started speaking, Joy's face was completely terrified, horrified, and jumped and was angry and asked her "Why the hell did you see my facebook !?". She asked in a low tone "So... Was that an expected message ?". Joy was speechless. Edna got more worried and horrified, and she said "I'm gonna go right now..." . She didn't know what else to say.

So she went out of the room and closed the door and asked dad if she could take his laptop. He replied "Hey, you can take it, but use only to watch any movie or to play any game. Remember..." I spontaneously replied "I know dad, 1 hour. Done, thanks". She took it to her room which was also upstairs and opposite to that of her brother's, locked the door and started reading about that 'disappearance of dog' incident. After a while, she felt as if she was being stared by someone. When she saw the window, she saw a drone with a camera, flying in front of her window to capture a video or photo of her. She shooed the drone and shouted "Never come back, get lost from here." the drone which was going, returned. Immediately Edna closed the window and rushed downstairs and pretended as if nothing happened. To pretend as if nothing happened, she took a chocolate and goes up.

When she was about to enter her room she noticed something weird. She heard some voices from her brother's room, she thought "Off course, he must be talking to his" and she was relaxed until she heard the word 'drone'. She was trembling with fear. She placed her ear onto the door and heard his brother say "Yes, it is deleterious. Better not to use it now. Let's test it later. One of the team member apprised me about the idea of drone, but it failed...". By hearing these words, Edna's heart was beating so fast. She thought "I never heard him to speak to someone like this".

Part 3:

She goes back to her room, she finds the environment quiet. Infact, too quite. She sees that the windows are covered by the curtains. She goes near the window and notices a note lying. She takes it but doesn't see it and throws it into the dustbin in her room. Suddenly she notices her brother's picture on it and someone had signed it. There was something written in a small font in morse code on his face in the picture. She thought "Well, I'm the Sherlock Holmes now". She had to have a partner, her best friend should always maintained Camarderie with her. She told to her parents "Mum, Dad, We have a project completion at school, which I completely forgot about. The deadline is tomorrow. Please allow me to go to Cydney's place to complete." and she was definitely allowed by her parents. She took the note which she got that day, took all her memories and went to her place. Edna asked "Heya, Just came to meet you, are you free ?" And to her surprise, she replied "I am alone, my parents will be back home at night. I'm alone. Don't just stand there, come inside". She went inside Cydney's home, and smirked. And told her everything whatever happened, because she trusted her. Few minutes passed, she completed her narration and added "This is only between us, don't involve ANY ONE else". Cydney asked "What about Par...", Edna rapidly replied "Not even them". And finally she told "If I'm not going to solve this case like a Sherlock Holmes, I would prefer to change my name". They both sat together and they were ready to crack the 'case'.
