Milani's POV.

Today was a great day. It was hot, and sunny, a perfect day to go out in the pool. The best part is I'm here with all the girls! Lauren, Ally, Mani, and Dinah of course Camila's here!

It really feels like old times. So we've been out here for a while now, just playing and goofing around.

Mommy had to go off to handle some business so she of course had the girls watch over me.

"I'm glad we came to babysit today." Dinah said while patting my head.

I side eyed her. "Do you have to say babysit?"

Normani looked back at me and smiled. "Sorry baby, but that's what we are doing."

"Yeah baby, you are a baby."

I pouted playfully before hearing my phone ding. I smiled seeing that my friend Jacob had just texted me.

Jacob🥰: Heyyyy what's up lani baby?

Me: Hey J! nothin much, just hanging with some friends. What about you?

Jacob🥰: I'm soooo bored. Do you miss me yet ;)

I covered my mouth with my hand to stop my giggles. Jacob is so funny.

"Who are you texting over there miss giggles."

I looked up from my phone to see all the girls now looking at me.

I felt my cheeks grow hot as I tried to hide my smile. Knowing that they would only tease me.

"Oh no one, just my friend Jacob." I said trying to sound calm about it.I know that they will make a big deal out of it only because he's a boy.

"Sartorius?"

"Mmhm." I nodded happily pushing my feet around in the water.

"He better not be anything more than a friend!"

I giggled softly but stopped when I noticed Camila kinda glaring at me. She had a tight grip on her phone and her jaw looked really tight.

She's always been super protective of me and so have the others. So it didn't really surprise me that this was her reaction.

"Oh trust me he's not. I don't see him in that way, plus mommy says that I am not allowed to date yet." I quickly cleared up.

"Good. You don't need to be worried about dating anyway, way too young and innocent for that." Ally added and Normani and Dinah nodded agreeing.

I rolled my eyes playfully as I put my phone down on the concrete. I bounced around in the water before laying on my back and floating.

"So we heard the two of you are going on tour together."

I didn't look up I just continued to float back with my eyes closed. The water was feeling wayyyy too good.

"We sure are! It's gonna be soooo much fun! Right mila?"

I heard Camila laugh making me smile. "Yeah I can't wait."

"You guys are gonna have to come with!"

"Oh no, we wouldn't want to impose."

I sat up to look at them. "Why would you say that D?"

She shrugged and looked over to Camila who was looking at her phone.
