Not gonna lie guys... I did kinda forget about this book.😭 But I've been getting some messages about continuing it so I'm back and I'm gonna try to do better!!

Milani's POV.

I sat on my bed scrolling down my apple laptop finishing up my homework. Since I'm not able to go to regular school anymore, mommy decided that homeschooling would be the best choice for me. That's one thing my mommy was strict on me about. School. She didn't care how famous I got, she's always told me that education is most important and that it must come first.

Camila always said that too. She was always reminding me to do my homework and to study for stuff. But speaking of Camila, she hasn't really talked to me since the weekend and it's now Wednesday. I hope I didn't make her mad at me, because I really miss her. But when I try to call her she doesn't answer or says she really busy.

"Milani babe! Did you finish all your homework!" I heard mommy yell and I slide my laptop off my lap and closed all my books pushing my glasses up on my face.

"Yes mommy! I just finished!" I yelled while opening my door to walk out. "Mommy!"

"I'm down in the laundry room baby!"

I nodded to myself as I skipped happily through the house making my way into the laundry room where mommy was.

"Good afternoon mommy." I spoke once she was in my view. She turned around and smiled softly walking closer to kiss my forehead.

"Good afternoon baby. What are you up to today?"

I shrugged my shoulders and took a seat at one of the stools. "Umm I'm not really sure, I may record some new songs that I've been working on."

She nodded. "Oh ok. Well I'm surprised you haven't been out with Camila."

Suddenly I felt sad all over again. The thought of Mimi not talking to me really hurts.

Mommy turned her head at me as she stopped what she was doing and walked over to me.

"Aww baby, why do you look so sad, you guys are ok right?"

I shrugged pushing some hair from my face. "Nothing is wrong mommy." I whispered

"Lani don't lie to me, now tell me what's bothering you honey?"

I sighed deeply feeling a pout coming to my face. "It's just-I really miss Mimi, but she won't talk to me."

"Aww Lani.."

"Maybe I made her upset." I shrugged slightly. "Maybe she just doesn't wanna hang out with a baby like me anymore." I pouted letting my head drop some.

"Aww baby, don't think like that ok. You know how Camila is when it comes to you, I'm sure she isn't ignoring you. She just probably doesn't have the time to hang out right now." She spoke as she slowly ran her hand up and down my back.

Maybe mommy is right. I never thought that she could just simply be busy. But I still would like to talk to her even if I can't see her. I mean she's been gone on tour for so long, and I don't like it when I can't talk to her.

"Mommy do we have any ice cream?" I asked randomly.

She nodded with a laugh. "We should, go check the snack room."

I nodded happily skipping my way to the elevator to make my way all the way down to the snack room.

The elevator dinged and I skipped off into the room.
