You both were running late for Slughorn's Christmas party and you knew that nobody would question why. You both hurried into the room and apologized for being late just as Ginny finished apologizing Harry stood up and asked to speak to her outside. They were outside for a few minutes before they came back in as you were explaining what you wanted to be when you were out of Hogwarts.
"-I don't want to be the type of person sitting behind a desk. I'd rather travel to the world and help magical creatures or even witches and wizards who might need my help."
"It sounds like you've got yourself all planned out, y/n. Hermione, what was it you said your muggle parents did?"
"What did Harry want?"
"To know the real reason we were late."
"Did you tell him?"
"Well yeah. I'd just tell your older brother that we got to caught up in a make out that time flew past. No, I didn't. I just told him I lost my mascara."
