Chapter Twenty Seven

Third Person POV

~A month later~

Jess had told Dumbledore what happened and Alex was expelled but not before Sirius and James had beat him up and hexed him not to remember who did it. Dumbledore knew but he didn't say anything just asked if it made them fell better. Jess had to start taking sleeping potions though most of the time she didn't and just stayed up all night mostly in the ROR. Jess also stopped eating almost all together if  it wasn't for Sirius she would of killed herself of starvation.

Sirius sat in his dorm with James.

"I love her" He said not really meaning to.

"I know" James replied.

"What do I do?"

"Tell her" 

"But she doesn't love me" Sirius exclaimed.

"She does" James sighed

"What, When, How?" Sirius blurted out.

"She's been in love with you since you kissed her at our party"

"Why didn't she say anything?"

"Because you didn't love her" Lily pretty much yelled walking into the room "She's in love with you and she as been for months but she couldn't tell you because you're her bestfriend AND you were dating Holly"

Sirius just sat silently staring at Lily.

"And now she's sitting all alone out there dying inside because of Alex and we need to fix her"

"How?" Sirius asked.

"I've been talking to Dumbledore and I think we should removed the memory or at least change it but she has to consent"

"What if she says no?" James spoke up.

"We do it anyway" Lily said though she didn't want it to come to that.

Jess's POV 

I sat in front of the fire in the common room, just staring into the ember flames, I was sick of this. I didn't want to be upset anymore but I could find the point of getting better. I knew what I had to do, I couldn't keep putting Sirius through this. His eyes, those stormy, grey eyes filled with so much pain. I stood up and began to walk out of the common room.

"Hey" I heard Sirius call out 

"Hey" I replied as he caught up to me.

"What you doing?" He asked giving me a smile which I knew wasn't real.

"Oh secret pranking plans" I joked lightly.

"Oh I see and they wouldn't be against me now would they" He smiled back.

"Maybe" I smiled back, glad to see a real smile cross his face.

I missed him and I knew he missed me but I couldn't go through his rejection, not on top of everything else. We didn't talk about the kiss well... Kisses I knew if I did I'd just blurt out I love you and that could either end up me getting rejected and ruining our friendship or us getting together and me just hurting him more with my issues. I sighed as I walked down the dark empty corridor, it was nearly time for everyone to be back in their dorms so I wasn't bothered on the way. What was I going to do I don't know talk to Dumbledore maybe, go to the forest? I decided last minute to walk to the lake. It was cold but I didn't care I just sat there with my feet dipped in the icy water. After about half an hour sitting there I stood up standing on the edge of the lake looking down. I closed my eyes and I slowly stepped off...

"NO" I heard someone scream before the freezing water hit me like knives and then numb.

Gasping and spluttering as someone dragged me onto the grass. I kept my eyes closed shivering in my thin pajamas. My bare feet scrapping along. They stopped laying me now wiping the wet hair from my face frantically, cupping my face. I slowly opened my eyes... Sirius sat holding my head tears running down his face rocking back and forth whispering 'No, no, no don't do this, don't do this to me please' I looked up his wet shaggy her dripping onto my face, I've never seen him cry. He stared up at the sky "Please, I love her, I love her" He screamed.

"Sirius" I croaked,He stared down at me tears in his eyes.

"Stay with me, stay with me" He whispered. That's all I remember before I blacked out.

15k guys this is insane!! I'm sorry I said I'd update more but I have so much going on all the time. I'm thinking of starting some other stuff too. Thank you for sticking with me
