Sonic POV
Prince Sonic wondered through the palace rose gardens. Snowflakes clung to his leather tunic. He sighed. The madness in the castle was not his problem for now. He paced around the rose bushes until he was dizzy. The pale moon shone a silver ray that bounced off what seemed to be a knight's helmet. He edged towards the piece of armour only to find a black and red hedgehog. He appeared to have deep gashes on the side of his head and hot ruby-red blood trickled down his face. Sonic could hear the mysterious knight's moans. He knelt down beside the knight and gently lifted his head. Sonic's hand ran through his quills. He was astonishingly handsome and sonic's cheek flushed a rose pink. The prince put a hand on the hedgehog's chest. His breathing was shallow. Sonic moved his hand up to the white tuft of fur below his neck. He wanted to kiss him so badly and he didn't even realise. He reached for his cloak and tore off some fabric. He dabbed at the fresh blood around the gashes on his head. Sonic's eyes were wild with love but he had no clue. He tore off longer strips of fabric and used them as a bandage. "SONIC! GET BACK INSIDE!"
In a hurry, Sonic took off his cloak and used it as a blanket for his mystery knight. He reluctantly got up. As he turned to leave he notice a beautiful white rose on the ground. He picked it up and placed it on the knight's chest. He kissed the top of his head. "Goodnight" The blue hedgehog raced back to the palace just before the queen sent out a search party.
