It has been a few days since I last saw Oliver. After he had left my flat, I had no sign from him. At first I didn't think much of him, but after a few days passed, the strange feeling hit me at once. It was longing. I miss him even if I don't want to admit it. I long for his cocky smile and a sight of his big hazel eyes. I long for that moments, when his nasty remarks made me speechless. I long for that time, when we was too close to each other that a tension between us was almost unbearable.

Anyways I tried to call him a few times, but he didn't respond. Even though I attempt to not overthink my every step, which might caused that he is sick and tired of me, I still do it. I look for mistakes, which made him feel offended. Is it an end of our friendship? I hope it's not, because I really miss his company.

It my shift in the coffeeshop, so I stand behind a counter, wearing black skinny jeans, red tank top and a brown apron with a logo of the coffeeshop on it. There is not much people on this time of a day. My friend and workmate Rachel is cleaning tables with one hand one her other hand holding a cellphone against her ear. Lucky girl has a happy relationship with a band boy Alex, who despite his handsomeness, is a real sweetheart. Now look at me. A pathetic girl in uniform, standing behind the counter lonely and complaining that some cocky asshole doesn't respond on her calls.

Speaking of cocky asshole, I hear a soft grunt, which snaps me out of my thoughts.

"May I order two coffees and a vegan cookie, love?"

I look up at a handsome feature of a boy standing on the other side of the counter. I swallow my own saliva as If I couldn't speak anymore. I clear my throat awkwardly and gaze straight into a pair of hazel eyes.

"Why two coffees?" It's only words, which I mumble before I bite my tongue. It's not my business why he is ordering a two coffees at all, but my curiosity is stronger than my sense.

A bright smile spreads across Oliver's face making me speechless again.

"Because I take you for a walk and I guess that we both need coffee" he answers simply, still smiling.

I cross my arms on my chest, rising my eyebrows.

"You didn't respond on any of my calls. You didn't give a shit about me for almost a week. Why do you think that I will go with you after your sudden disappearing?"

He shoves his hands in his pocket and smirks softly.

"Sorry for that. I had to practice with my band. We have a lot of works to do on the new record" he explains and reaches behind him to show me two tickets on a movie marathon "I hope you like movie marathons?"

I can't help, but smile a little. I'm about to ask him why he couldn't answer for my call and tell me that he is busy with his band, but before I say anything, he covers my mouth with his hand. My eyes widen as I look at him in shock.

"What's about you grab your stuff and go with me in the cinema, sweetheart?"

I shake my head because of his hand still covering my mouth. I lick his hand causing him pull away his hand. He wipes his hand against his skinny jeans and laughs.

"It was disgusting" he jokes with a fake indignation.

I chuckle and look over Rachel, who is still cleaning tables and gazing at us discreetly.

"I have to work, Oliver" I admit sadly.

Oliver looks around with a snide smirk.

"I see you have a lot of work today, Nina, considering that I'm the only customer at the moment" he mocks.

I roll my eyes and sigh heavily. He has right. I'm bored, standing behind the counter and waiting for clients with no result. Eventually I smile at Oli and nod.

"If I lose my job, it will be your fault, Sykes" I say, smiling and add "Wait for a second" I walk over to Rachel and give her my kindest smile as I'm able to force "Rachel, could you do something for me? I have to go, so if our boss will ask you why I'm not in work, could you lie that I have a flu or something like that?"

Rachel looks over Oliver, who leaning against the counter nonchalantly with his hands in his jeans' pockets. She looks back at me with a understanding smile.

"No problem, Nina. Remember you owe my a favor" I smile back at her and hug her friendly "By the way good luck with this cutie" she whispers into my ear and I laugh quietly. We both look over Oliver, who catches us on staring at him and waves with his tattooed hand.
