Trying something new. If this flops we're all just gonna pretend I never wrote this.
I closed my eyes, singing my heart out in the studio and add a bit of a hum as the guitar solo rolls in. I open my eyes to see a very handsome looking Harry Styles staring at me through the glass window, dressed in a flowery t-shirt and simple black jeans.
Harry had found my YouTube covers a few months ago and decided to get me signed to his record label which I'm very grateful for. But the problem is that I've been a fan of his for so long that as soon as he stares at me like he is right now, I can't seem to sing. I'm staring back at him, surprised by his sudden appearance but am startled out of my world of staring at my producer Chanel's voice."Y/n! You missed your cue. Take five then we'll do another take." I sigh and grab a bottle of water on my way to the bench. I'll just have to remember not to stare at Harry on the next try.
Harry POV
I sit down next to Chanel in one of the spinny chairs.
"Has y/n been struggling with recording sessions? Is she feeling anxious about it?"
"Not at all, Harry. In fact this is the first time she's choked in the entire five sessions we've had. I'm actually thinking we can get the album done early. Maybe she was just surprised when you walked in." I sat back, astounded. I knew she was talented, of course. I guess I just walked in on a bad time. Y/n comes back in and talks into the mic.
"Chanel, I'm ready." She says. I wave at her but she doesn't see it. I frown a little. She starts singing and I lean back into my chair with a smile. I loved hearing her sing. Maybe that's why I was more invested in her success than most of my prodigies. I lean forward and rest my face into my hand, watching the pure emotion on her face as she sings. She looks over at me and starts stuttering. Gears start turning in my head as I figure out why I think she's suddenly having troubles singing.
Y/N POV
I grab my head in frustration and step back from the mic.
"I'm sorry, Chanel. Can we go again please?" Chanel presses the green button that allows me to hear her.
"Of course, y/n. Let's go again guys." Damn Harry and his damn stares. I look at him before starting again and he seems deep in thought. I shrug it off and start the song. I close my eyes and feel the beat as the song starts and open them to Harry staring at me with one eyebrow slightly arched and a smug smirk. Smug? Why would he be smug? I'm imagining things.
I start singing only to see Harry giving my the most intense stare yet. The way he's looking at me is beyond words. I may be innocent but I am not naive. He's challenging me. Instead of looking away like I usually do, I stare back, gazing directly into his eyes as I sing. A look of surprise flashes across his face and he immediately tries to hide it but not before I catch it. I shape my lips into a smug grin and start bobbing my head to bear more vigorously as I pour my heart out into the words all while making sure my intense gaze stays on Harry. His stare never stops either.
"That was amazing y/n! I think we're done for the day. Go home and get some rest." I sigh.
"Ok thanks Chanel. I'll see you tomorrow." I smile at her innocently, knowing Harry is still staring. I'm still buzzing from what happened as I exit the sound booth. I'm taken by surprise as my wrists are held above my head in one head against the wall and I'm held against it by Harry kissing my neck.
"Someone might see!" I whisper yell. He softly kisses my lips.
"I made sure everyone left. Don't worry love. You want to do this, yeah?" Harry asks politely. I nod my head rapidly.
