Peters POV:
I carefully rubbed my eyes and let out a small yawn, my mouth is dry. I'm Peter Parker aka, a walking disaster. I had been up till 5:00 am patrolling the night prior. As I rest my chin on my forearm I check to see I had only 5 minutes left till dismissal.
suddenly I was brought back from my trance when Mr. Warren cleared his throat in order to get the classes attention his expression telling us to shut it or else. So we each turn and face him.
"class, I have a special announcement to make, I am sure that you will be happy to hear what I have to say." He himself seamed excited at the idea.
" Due to your recent academic achievements in this school, our class has been chosen to... " he looked around pausing, for suspense I guess."go on a field trip to see stark industries!" I was shell shocked by the new information to the point I had remained in my seat dispite the fact that the bell had allready rung.
I finally becomeimg aware of my surrounds. Acknowledging what was happening around me I picked my stuff up and headed to the exit.
Seriously?!
First of all, how in gods name did our group even get an invitation. To stark industries of all places.
Second of all, why did we?
I had been so caught up in mourning what was left of my self esteem. I hadn't realized that flash had been mocking me and Ned the whole way down the hallway. That is, until Ned poked me in the shoulder and brought me back from depressed thoughts. So that I was no longer concerned about my upcoming demise.
"Dude, this is so cool! We get to see stark industries in person!" I gave him a look of exhaustion and despair, all bundled up into one big pile of mess.
"Ned you've been there before, what difference does it matter if it's with the rest of the class?" Ned just shook his head in frustration. I then realized that I needed to head home if I wanted to get my homework done with before patrol tonight. This week is going to be great!
