Rival became friend [Part 3]

Aelita POV

I did't do anything to get call to the office right? This is not the first time i being call to the office but as song as i can remember i did't do anything bad. Jeremy were worried about this.

When i reach Mr Delmas office i saw Laura sitting in frond of Mr Delmas and Jim. I choose to sit beside Laura. We did't greet or look at each other. We just focus on Mr Del mas and Jim wondering why are we here.

"Ah finally everyone is here. You two realized that you two are one of the smartest student student here right?" Mr Delmas ask. Both of use just look at each other.

"Sir, what about Belpois? He also one of the smartest student?" Jim ask as me and Laura nodded our head.

"Of course he is but i honestly think their are better. Don't you think? Let's get back to the topic shall we. I call both of you here because each school need to sent two student to compete in a competition. I really hope you two can work together in these competition. You two have until the end of these week to sent the project. The tittle of these competition is about nature. Can you two handle that?"

Me and Laura work together?

It might turn the it awkward. After what happen but she did't remember anything. I am gonna act like we never talk at all.

"I'm okay with that sir. I will try my best."Laura said. Then she turn to me and ask " How about you Aelita? Are you okay with us working together?" Laura sound nice,anxiety about me.

Maybe this won't be a bad idea after all.

"Sure. Let's work together." Laura smile sweaty to me. I smile back to her.

"Good. In that case here is the paper about the competition. The competition is about nature. You two need to finish it by the end of this week. Which is three day from now. Good luck girls. I'm sure both of you will make the school proud ." With that speech he gave two sheets of paper. One for me and one for Laura.

"Good luck you two." Jim said.

When we walk out of the office i saw Jeremy and Odd waiting for me. Odd the first one who noticed me and Laura and greet us.

"Hey princess, hey Laura! How are you two doing in there? Must be a good news . I meant you guy impossible to get into trouble unlike me." Odd laugh a little. I giggle a little while Laura just smile.

"Nothing bad happen right Aelita?" Jeremy always panic about me. He always care.

Before i could answer Laura turn to me and told me to meet her at the library two hour from now. Like now is 2 pm. So we will be meting at 4pm. I just answer okay cause well i'm okay with it but Jeremy being Jeremy asking lot of questions.

Laura POV

I just can't stand them with Aelita. Don't get me wrong it not like i hate Aelita. It just i jealous of her. She have a perfect life. A great life. A great friend. Caring one. A family that love her. My mom die years ago. My father did't care about me.

I walk toward the library to read something to clear my mind. Like their said better early than late. Beside i got nothing to do.
