Sammie shifted towards me as the clock struck twelve on the stage. She was only 10 and was afraid of the lighting in the concert hall. I comforted her as she whispered to me 'Maddie,I don't like it.' Six minutes later we walked out of the theatre with Sammie holding on to my hand tightly. That show was my birthday present, and I was so excited for it. I had previously told Mom to leave Sammie at Grammy's but she insisted to bring her along. As we stepped into the cold night. I felt tingling in my chest. I then heard a scream and realised it was me screeching.
