Your Love Saves Me

Chapter 1

Junmyeon's POV

You could hear the cries of enemy hunters all around. The trees had blood splattered all over them and leading up to the main entrance of the pack.

They were everywhere attacking us at all fronts leaving all of our fighters at a 2-1 ratio, a completely terrifying result after having a few of our own leave to inspect the barrier that should have been back by now.

All the women who weren't fighters and children who had yet to shift along with all the Omegas had been locked in their house safe room too keep them alive, even then with this many hunters it was hard to say what the end result would look like for the pack.

I had been with my mate Yixing escorting him out of the pack and to the emergency escape route.

Yixing has the ability to heal the only wolf alive with this rare power. If the hunters were to capture him I would never see him again.

Hunters would kill for a wolf that could heal all of their injuries. That's exactly what was happening to my pack right now. They were paying the price even though Yixing is my mate. It was my problem.

Yet..now my packs very existence is at stake because someone saw Yixing heal Yifan. I knew I should've kept Yixing away from my pack for their safety.

Hunters will kill whoever they have to, to get their hands on a healer. Only every 10,000 years is a healer wolf born into a pack and gifted with the ability to heal any injury no matter how serious.

Yixing was special everyone knew that. My wolf picked up on the screams from a few miles away, I knew by the sound of the scream it wasn't a normal training or show of ones strength battle.

That's when I rushed Yixing to the emergency escape route that would lead him back to his pack and ran back into the direction of mine.

I was running faster than I ever had before, my heart in my throat, crazily hoping that the rumors of the hunters attacking my pack to get Yixing were wrong.

But I knew better than to hope. As I ran closer towards my pack the answer was all around me.

I entered the main field where normally the women and their kids would be waiting for their husbands to come back from hunting to eat the usual pack dinner, the whole area completely filled with laughter and smiles.

Instead it was infested with hunters using their fancy guns filled with wolfsbane bullets shooting at the wolves of my pack. Bodies of dead wolves were everywhere along with the color and smell of blood mixed with mud that stood under everyone.

It had poured earlier in the morning making the ground very slippery, letting us use whatever little advantage we had.

Even as I watched my pack being torn to pieces in front of my eyes. My mother the current luna was most likely keeping the moral of the others going for as long as she could despite the current situation.

What scared me was that I couldn't see my mother even though I knew she was the reason behind the pack warriors heads being held high with pride.

The current alpha, my father was fighting a mission impossible battle 15 on 1, my sister IU darting in and out grabbing as many injured wolves on the field as she could. IU is untouchable with her speed but she was tiny that any direct attack towards her would kill her.

My best friend Minseok was fighting off hunters trying to kill injured wolves near the entrances, my brother Beomgyu right next to him. They were doing the best they could under the circumstances, they were quick and smart about their actions.

I felt lost standing at the edge of the forest, just out of view not knowing what to do.

I didn't know if I should use my power going against my father or shift into my wolf letting him take complete control. Both were risky.

Seeing the current situation worsen I knew whatever I did it had to be fast or I would loose everything.

I had the power to help my family and even though it meant pissing off my father I needed to use my power in this moment and for once be grateful I had the ability to control any and all water.

I closed my eyes and breathed feeling my eyes shift red letting a little of my wolf take some control.

I could also feel water wrap around my fist and opened my eyes that shined red.

I made it rain making this whole battle turn into my advantage. With a snap of my finger I could cause a wave to rise up and sallow the hunters whole drowning them in water.

Which is exactly what I did. I watched as a wave rose up and swallowed the hunters and rose them into the air for all to see and witness them die one by one.

I could see my father and siblings stop to look around confused. My sister was the one to spot me first and pointed to me. My father and I made eye contact and he had his usual disapproving face.

My father has always been bent on the idea that we should fight off our invaders with our fangs instead of our powers. He's always thought this since I was born. He always said fighting without powers is what makes a real wolf.

I guess I should stop playing. I wave my hands into the air causing the dead hunters body to disappear into the air along with the rain I created.

Making sure the coast was clear and that we weren't being attacked anymore I approached the water barrier I had created around the pack and main entrances I flicked the water making it give off a ringing sound letting everyone know it was safe to come out.

I approached my family and saw my mom standing next to my father smiling at me. My father however was pissed. I definitely called it.

"Junmyeon how many times do I need to tell you not to rely on your powers! They won't always be able to help you!" My father yelled.

I hate when he nags at me. I sigh "Father it was the only way I could ensure yours and the packs safety without having the number of our warriors decrease. I don't want to fight with you I'm not in the mood." I said sternly.

I'm worried about Yixing I have no idea if he got home okay. I hear my phone chime.

Junmyeon I feel awful I hope you and everyone else are okay! I had no idea someone saw me heal Yifan I swear! I bet your dads mad I'm sorry Jun.

I smile I'm glad he's okay. I'll call him later. I don't want Yixing to beat himself up over this. We always knew something like this would happen one day.

I heard my dad huff "Oh and I'm supposed to be in the mood?! Junmyeon your the next alpha in order for me to retire you need to show me I can rest at ease." My father said sternly.

I'm getting a headache again. It's always about the same thing. "You wonder why I don't like coming home. I gotta go take care of business at the restaurant will talk later." I said pulling out my car keys walking away waving.

"Junmyeon!" I could hear my father yell before I got into my car and dialed my boyfriends number.

"H-Hello? Jun!?" I heard my boyfriend say as I roll my window down letting my arm get fresh air.
