Your phone starts ringing, it's time to get up to go to school but you just turn it off and continue sleeping. All of sudden you heard a huge noise so close to you, you immediately open your eyes and see Jungkook's face so close to yours frowning.
"You should have woken up half an hour ago, you're late" you check the hour on your phone, it's already 7:40 and you haven't done anything yet "you could have warned me" you say while taking him out of your room "hey you're older enough to get up by yourself, or maybe I'm wrong and you haven't grown up yet"
You grumble, he's a completely and absolutely jerk, yet he is your step brother and you'll have to endure his shitty attitude for a long time.
"Aren't you going to come to school?" you ask him after you finish dressing up "I do" he says without interest "then why have you woken me up at this time, we are going to miss the bus" you exclaim frustrated, he's annoying af. "We? That will be you, I'm going by car, not by bus" you look at him surprised "do you even have a car?" you asked a bit amazed "of course I do, I'm 19" he says proudly, you sigh "whatever, can I go with you? I mean, in your car?" he doubts for a minute but then denies "I'm sorry, I can't, in fact I have to leave now" you grab his arm "please Jungkook, wait some more minutes until I prepare my school bag and let me at least eat something" he starts complaining but finally agrees "you have five mins."
You sigh, he's really hateful, yet you go to your bedroom and prepare your school bag and then you return to the kitchen and take a milkshake and a chocolate bar "I'm ready" you say opening the door, then you follow him and enter to the car.
When you arrive to school you notice everyone is staring at you, they are surely thinking who that boy is, some of them have assumed that he's your boyfriend or shit like that. When you get out of the car your friend Kimberly waves her hand and approaches you, then introduces herself to him.
"Hi, I'm Kimberly... y/n's best friend, nice to meet you" she smiles and is about to shake his hand but Jungkook just ignore her and continue walking without even look back to both of you.
"Who's him? Is him your boyfriend? He's hot af" you roll your eyes but that doesn't surprise you, in fact you know how Kimberly is, she's really charismatic and has a very flirty personality, when her eyes focus on someone she always gets what she wants.
"He's not my boyfriend duh, he's my stepbrother, my mother started a relationship with a dude and a few weeks ago she told me Connor and his son were going to live with us, and by the way, before you say anything, I haven't told you before because I wasn't in a good mood" then she sigh "ah, you're so lucky y/n, he's hot and good-looking, and I can't imagine how good he probably is on the bed" you flinch disgusted "ugh stop saying that Kim, he's so hateful and has a shitty personality, I assure you that he is anything but nice, I really hate him" she holds your hand "then can I try?" you don't know what to say, you don't know why but the fact that she wants him doesn't really work for you "I guess so..."
she smiles happily "nice then, let's go, we will miss our history lesson."
School finishes and you come back home, Yoongi goes immediately to his room and closes the door, you instead go to the bathroom and take a shower, you're meeting Kimberly and Hoseok at a coffee shop at 5:00 p.m, lately Kim and you haven't had enough time to meet him so today is the perfect day to spend time together. When you arrive they're already there, waiting you as always.
"We thought you got lost or something, we were worried" Hoseok says laughing, you put your eyes blank and sit next to him. "So how's life, do you have any exams this week?" he nods "I do, in fact today I had an chemistry test and I think I'm gonna fail" the conversation continues peacefully until Kimberly exclaims.
"Omg y/n, your stepbrother is here!" you turn your head back and see him at the entrance, when he sees you he grins at you and sits quite far away from you, you follow him with your eyes and he continues staring at you, a staring contest you end when Kim catch your attention by snapping her fingers in front of your face.
"I'm determined, I'm going to go there, sit with him and start a conversation to know him better... then I wish it happens what I'm thinking right now" she winks and you give her a smile not very convinced "go girl, you can do it" says Hoseok at the back "yeah, I'm sure you are going to do it great" you cheer her up and then she stands up and goes with him, she sits in front of him and they start talking.
"Kimberly is really pretty and charismatic, in fact every men fall for her... I guess I can't compare myself to her" you whisper, you aren't lying, Kimberly is one of the most popular girls of the school because of her beauty and her great body, she can make every men go crazy for her.
"What are you saying y/n, you're pretty too, at least that's what I personally think" says Hoseok smiling at you "thank you Hobi, but you don't have to lie... it's okay if you say the truth, it's not going to affect me or something" you give him a smile and then focus your eyes on Kim and Jungkook again, but they aren't there, you look at the exit door and see Kimberly kissing him, you roll your eyes but keep looking at them.
"y/n? Are you listening to me?" you nod and turn your head to look back to him "hum sorry, I wasn't, repeat again please" he denies "it's okay, you seem so interested in Kim and that boy" he says with a cold tone of voice, you frown "he's my stepbrother, nothing else" he looks at you with a serious gaze "it looks like you are in love with him..." is he jealous? in fact you don't know what to answer or say, at this point and after realizing how you feel when Kimberly talks about him you don't know your feelings for him.
"He's my brother Hoseok, he means nothing but just that" Hoseok smiles and holds your chin "then..." he gets closer to you and gives you a soft kiss on your lips you open your eyes and end the kiss "what are you doing?" you say shocked "I love you..." says Hoseok staring at you intensely.
