The same weekend of Melanie's first week in LazyTown, our gang decided to go the beach. The mother and daughter were getting ready at home. Melanie pulled out Stephanie's pink swimming suit and her white bikini. Stephanie wore her favorite pink summer dress on top, and Melanie wore a plain tank top and short jeans, and the two were ready to go.

On their way to the beach, they met the rest of the kids.

"Good morning, everybody!" Melanie greeted them, but all she could hear from the boys was non-understandable mumbling, so she just laughed it off, with Trixie and Stephanie following.

"Ugh, I'm so excited! It has been a very long time since I've been to the beach, thanks to so many hours of work," Melanie said.

"Well, now we're going to have lots of fun! We're gonna play volleyball, and make sportscandy smoothies, and swim, and build sandcastles and..." Stephanie kept on rumbling and Melanie just smiled and listened to her carefully.

Sportscandy... Huh. Even though Stephanie explained to her what it meant, Melanie knew it will take her a little while to get used it.

Arriving to the beach, the kids and Melanie found out Sportacus was already there, setting up the net for the volleyball game later.

"Oh, hello everybody!" Sportacus greeted them.

"Good morning, Sportacus!" they all greeted back.

"Good morning, Ms. Meanswell," he particularly greeted Melanie.

"Good morning, Sportacus," she grinned, then took off her tank top, showing her flat stomach and her bikini top. Sportacus couldn't help it but blush a little. And Stephanie couldn't help but notice that! She looked back and forth at her friend and her mother, knowing there's something going on.

But soon enough, once Milford and Bessie joined them, everybody went to their own business. Bessie was (obviously) lying down, trying to get some tan, Trixie, Stephanie, Ziggy and Sportacus were playing volleyball, Melanie was watching them from the bar as she drank a smoothie, and Pixel and Stingy played in the water. Everybody had fun, not knowing that Robbie was peeking on them.

"Well, well, well. You haven't changed a bit, don't you, Melanie? Still beautiful, still good-looking as always. Boy, if that blue kangaroo wasn't around, I might have recreating our prom night... But at least I have the memories," Robbie evilly grinned to himself.

Meanwhile, the kids and Sportacus took a break from playing, so Melanie suggested to make smoothies for them as well. Putting the fruits is the blender and turning it on, there was suddenly a shortage and the machine went wild! Fruit pieces went all over the place, and one even landed on Melanie's breast, and Sportacus couldn't help but notice. And boy, his imagination went wild... He imagined how he would eat pieces of his favorite sportscandies off of her naked body and-

Melanie, on the other hand, fixed the shortage by arranging the cable. "There, it should be working right again," she said as she got up and cleaned herself, eating the piece of strawberry she had on her. Sportacus snapped back to reality, and said "Wow, that's amazing. How do you know to do that?" he asked as she was turning the blender again. "When you're single, you have to learn that stuff," she said over the blender's noise. "Although, I owe all my knowledge to internet tutorials," she laughed as she opened the blender and started to pour everyone's glasses.

Later, Sportacus suggested the kids to go back to the volleyball game, but the kids preferred to go back to the water. But then Melanie jumped from the bar, "I'll play with ya!"

"Really? You play?" he asked.

"Yeah. Well, I haven't played since high school, and in Italy they're not really into this, but yeah," she said.

The two began to play and Melanie was discovered as quite an athlete. In fact, she managed to win Sportacus.

"Wow! You're an amazing player! And quite a great challenge, may I say. We should play together more often," Sportacus suggested. Although he probably meant another type of "play". More like a "fore-play", maybe? Because as the days passed, he became more and more interested in everything about her.

It was already dark, which was a clear sign for everyone to go home and get some sleep. Stephanie fell asleep in one of the chairs, and Sportacus suggested to carry her home, which tired Melanie happily accepted.

"It was really fun today, I gotta say," she told him.

"Yeah, it was. I mean, seriously, you're an amazing volleyball player!" he said.

"Ugh, would you stop that already? I got it already, I'm amazing," she said with a hint of seriousness in her voice, to which he laughed.

After a couple more minutes of silence, Sportacus realized something and had to ask her about it.

"Say, I gotta ask, why 'Stephanie'? I mean, it's a beautiful name, but it sounds like you lost a bet or something. You know, because it rhymes with your name," he asked.

"Ah! Finally, a new question nobody ever asked me before! But yeah, you're sort of right. One month before she was born, we were all sitting in the living room and tried to think about names. Then, my brother Matthew suggested the name 'Stephanie' just because he found it funny that it rhymes with my name. I laughed it off, but then I started to think about it more seriously. You how when you keep saying or thinking of a word a lot it suddenly lose its meaning? So it happened the opposite for me. The more I thought of it, I found it more beautiful. It sounded a bit royal, actually. You know, like 'Princess Stephanie'! And the rest, as you can see – is history," she pointed at Stephanie sleeping in his arms.

"Funny you said 'Princess Stephanie', because one time Robbie made- you probably don't wanna hear about it, don't you?" Sportacus realized what he was saying.

"Nope."

The two kept on walking until they reached Melanie's home. She opened the door, and then took Stephanie from Sportacus' arms.

"Thank you so much for this!" she whispered.

"Anytime you want," he smiled and almost took off when she stopped him, "Um, maybe would you like to come inside for a bit? I can make you tea or something... Sugar-free, of course," she smiled at him.

"Uh... Yeah, sure, I'd love that."
