Brother. Chapter 8.

Yukio was laying on his bed, in his new room still sleeping. Shura was able to patch up yukio and everyone was just waiting for the boy to wake up. Its been a week and some of Yukio injuries was healed while us was still healing. 

Everyone took times sitting next to yukio, making sure he was ok or to tell if he gets worse. Rin would spend most of his time in yukio room even when it wasn't his watch. He would just sit by yukio head watching him sleep and talking about anything he could think of. He hated that it took yukio dying to make him realise how shitty he treated his little brother and how awful he been. 

On Sunday everyone was sitting down eating, no one was watching yukio since its already been a week and had no hope of him waking. After they was all done eating they were gonna come up with a plan on what to do with yukio. They could keep him here sleeping but if the higher ups or other exorcist found them and they had to run they wont be able to carry him as they ran. One idea was to drop him of at a hospital at night but the higher up would probably find him and kill him. They could just leave him in a safe house but who would look after him and keep him alive. They were stuck and hated it.

Ukobach and kuro just sat in the small kitchen listening to them talk with frowns. They didnt really want to leave yukio behind or in the hands that wanted him dead. But as they started to give up on hope for the others kuro stood up sniffing something he didnt think he sniff so soon. Ukobach wasn't far behind him and the two walked out the kitchen towards the living room door way and letting everyone watch them being confused. 

"yukio" kuro cheered as the tall, cute, glasses boy stood shirtless in the door way looking at everyone before a small smile reaching his mouth. "yukio" rin yelled and hugged his little brother getting a pain moaned since yukio was still injured. "ouch" yukio moaned and rin let go. "welcome to the land of the living, we didnt expect you to wake up" shura said with a smirk. "how are you feeling yukio, any better" izumo asked and yukio turned his head towards her. "I'm fine, just hurt all over" yukio smiled and notice a couple of stares at him making him feel unconfutable. "um yukio, how did you get so injured in hell, i thought the demons would just want to kill you or suck your soul out" nemu asked and yukio noticed why he was being stated at, he was topless and his fresh, healing or healed injures could be seen. Even he felt sick looking at them, so he just put his hand up for a minute before walking away and stealing a shirt from his room before coming back down. 

"ah sorry, we didnt mean to make you feel unconfutable, we just wanted to know why they torched you instead" konekmaru asked with a frown and everyone turned to what yukio answer was. "its a secret but do we have anything good to eat" Yukio asked with a smile and everyone laughed that he was after food instead of a lovely greetings. 

"so yukio how did you make it to us, we heard its a one way trip to hell unless Satan or a high rank demon sends you out" bon asked and yukio dropped his spoon into his soup and covered his mouth so he wont poke. "yukio" rin said worried and everyone thought it was best to stop asking him questions about his time in hell. "we all going to have baths tonight, do you think you be ok to take one" shima asked with a smile and yukio nodded. "well its great to have you back yukio" shiemi smiled brightly. "thanks" yukio smiled but his eyes was dull and dead no joy could be seen. 

"hey yukio" rin whispered while he shared yukio bed with him. "yes" yukio said back not caring if others are asleep since it was midnight. "you yelled out something strange a couple times" rin said a little nervous. "it was just gibberish since i was so messed up" yukio said rolling over to face rin. "yeah you might be right but you seemed really sad as you called it" rin said looking in yukio eyes.

"what did i say" yukio asked getting worried. "mother" rin said with a sad smile and yukio eyes started to water up. "she loves us both and will always look over us" yukio says with a sad smile and rolls over facing the wall. "wait you met her" rin said shocked. "she was beautiful and kind, she really loves us" yukio said as he let his tears fall. "wow, do you think i ever meet her" rin asked. "I'm sorry" yukio said and rin took it as a no and not to ask anymore. 

"good night yukio" rin smiled and closed his eyes. "night" yukio said as his eyes closed. 

FLASHBACK.

"haha beat you old man" kid rin cheered and dance a little. "I'm not giving up yet, so get ready" shiro giggled and picked up the football. "looks fun" kid yukio sighed as he watched from the study window. Shiro gave him extra books to study from, yukio knew he still be studying on his day off but he didnt think he be given extra by his own farther. Shiro and rin has been playing for an hour while yukio was stuck studying and working. He tried to join them for a small break but he got ignored like he wasn't even there.

"lets go for some ice cream, its hot today" shiro smiled and rin ran over to him. "yeah, we need a tasty break" rin laughed and took shiro hand. This was it, maybe yukio could join them for once since he been stuck studying in the hot room and he nearly done it all, so it would be fair right. Little yukio ran as fast he could, a bright smile and hopeful eyes to be apart of the family but his smile faded once he reached the door.

"farther" yukio yelled as he rushed putting his shoes on and tried to run after them but tripped. He watched rin and shiro walk away hand in hand with smiles. Did they not hear him or was he really invisible to them all. Yukio stood up and made his way back to the study, did they really not think about him as all. They could even say his name in wondering if he should come or not but no.

Yukio finishing his studying and made his way to the roof. The hot sun started to become the cool moon after hours. At first yukio was worried something happened but then it hit him, they just dont care about him. 

After it got to late for little yukio he got up and walked to the kitchen, no food was left and not much to eat in the kitchen anyway so he skipped eating. He climbed in his bed and just laid there. After a couple more hours shiro and rin came back laughing loud. 

It was a good think yukio was already awake or he would have be woken up. He listened to them talk and it seemed shiro took rin out for fun all night. They went to a family diner for dinner, they went to a game Center and played and so much more. While yukio was left in the church, alone, no food and forgotten.  He heard shiro tuck rin in bed and felt him bumping his head making rin laugh and yukio did have a little smirk. "oh yukio" shiro said as he notice me in bed. "was yukio here the whole time" rin asked all cuddle up. "nah I'm sure he was out and came back before us, he should really tell me if he gonna go out and have fun" shiro said with a frown. "yeah leaving us behind to entertain ourselves" rin said annoyed and yukio just stayed laying in bed, listening to them both talk like that. 

END OF FLASHBACK.

"can i really act like a brother after all these years" yukio whisper to himself, after all these years of being forgotten and hurt could he act like a family again.
