Adventures and crushes?

Dark...that's all it was...darkness covered every inch. Am I dead? o I'm lost. But where am I lost?

Scarlet awoke Ella up from her slumber. Today they were travling to the next town. Which was over 100 miles away. She was super happy Ella had joined her on her travels. It made her heart race out of her chest and her stomach do little flips. But she still was quit happy.

Ella streched and they headed off. In order to get to the next town going through a desert had to be done. Scarlet didn't mind. But Ella was a bit scared of going into the desert. The heat had never gotten along with her. She completely dispised it. But she didn't want to be rude or trouble Scarlet, so she would deal with it. Beside sElla liked Scarlet. And everytime they talked Ella couldn't help but smile. She was never one to like other people but Scarlet was diffrent. She couldn't put her finger on it though.

"So Ella did you have any friends before you left?" Scarlet asked.

"No I didn't have any." Ella answerd with a smile.

"Oh..." Scarlet looked up at the sky in thought. "Well I'm your friend now. Right?"

Ella was taken back by this question

Was she her friend. And if so is that all they could be? "Yes your my friend!" She said looking at scarlet with the same smile.

"Yay." Scarlet did a little jump as they kept walking. Ella giggled.

"Come party with us!!"

"Hey Ladies *hiccup* come join our group."

A group of people walked up to the two. Girls and guys all looking drunk or sober. They had just come from a party. The two girls just ignored them.

The moment they stepped into the desert Ella felt week. Scarlet didn't mind thea heat and everything seemed fine. But then something knocked Ella off her feet. Scarlet tried to find where the thing was but it was hard since it was underground. Ella began to breath hard. Her head burned and she could barelt stand. Scarlet frantically picked Ella up and began to run through the destert. The thing went to attack again but this time Scarlet was ready and dodged. Ella got off of Scarlets back and tried to bring up a force of wind so tye creature could be seen. But Ella was to week and only created a small breeze. She tried again and Scarlet was cheering her on inside yet was a bit dissapionted that Ella was so weak. The mysterious creature attack again but Scarlet didn't have time to dodge so she got knocked down.

Ella's heart began to race. She looked around for the creature but couldn't see it. Then out off the corner of her eye she saw movement under the sand.

Concentrating she put her hands in front of her heart and cupped them. Then with all her strength she blew an icy blast in the direction of the creature. All of a sudden the whole desert was covered in ice and a mutant Scorpion was frozen solid. Scarlet looked at Ella in amazment. Ella had two abilities. Something only Scarlet thought she had. But just as she was about to praise Ella, Ella fell from exhaustiin.

"ELLA!!!!" Yelled Scarlet as she ran up to her.
